I mean are we going to blindly march to the Leader's drum, or are we going to question his royal orders? Darn radicals, how dare they question the Leader's decidering ability.. Peasants!

Seems like a crappy argument to me. Franklin and Theodore Roosevelt both came from priveleged families, and yet there is no doubt they cared and did alot for the average joe in this country.

John Edwards didn't even come from a priveleged family. His father was a textile worker and his mother a post office carrier. He was the first in his family to go to college. He graduated with a degree in textile technology and later recieved a degree in law. He graduated with honors in both cases. He worked hard and became succesful. He wasn't born to some elite family.

That is something to be proud of.

My doctor advised me at my eight week appointment to stay away from kittens. Why was this?

I am twenty weeks now, does the above still apply?

I've been having some allergic reactions lately (my allergist hasn't been able to identify the cause). Currently, my lips and eyelids are swollen. It feels like my throat is swelling, or very very sore, but I can still breathe. It feels like there is a slight pressure in my chest, but again, nothing severe. I took 50 mg of Zyrtec a few hours ago, to little effect. It's been like this for at least two hours.

Is this an anaphylactic reaction? Is the throat swelling likely to get worse, or after two hours am I pretty much safe from having my throat close up?

Basically, if nothing extremely severe has happened within an hour or so, can it be ruled out as an anaphylactic reaction or should I still go to a hospital or something?

ok so i definitley ahve the muscle aspect covered, i jsut want to lose that extra layer of fat on top of the muscles... .i also have the dieting thing covered, and have also lost a decent amount of weight in the past couple weeks, but it only shows a little because i'm not really burning much of the fat. ive been doing light weights some other stuff for muscle, and it sort of shows, but theres that stubborn layer of pudge over it. not a lot, but i'd like it to be more under control for summer...
just if anyone has any suggestions for exercises that dont take a lot of time (end of high school junior year crunch). help!

Question :
(*=degrees)
Triangle ABC is obtuse, and has the following measurements:

Angle B = 40*
Side 'a' = 75
Side 'b' = 50

How do I solve for angle A??
If all steps could be shown that would be fantastic, i want to learn how to do this properly.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

My father in law passed away last year and they never could figure out what happened to him. He was bleeding into, and out of all sorts of places. First he was being treated for kidney failure. When he was in the hospital on dialysis he burst an artery(?) in his kidney and almost died from the loss of blood. They had to replace 17 units. Later, they found blood in his spinal fluid. He was also bleeding from the rectum although when they did an endoscopy, they found no ulcers or other reasons he could have been bleeding. Finally, the thing that killed him was 2 brain hemmorages. What could this have been? The doctors are perplexed. Any ideas?

Please be kind, this is still very painful for me.

Not hemophelia. The issue wasn't that he couldn't STOP bleeding, it was that he was bleeding into all of these wierd places to begin with.

I could give you a huge list of dumb things that have been said or written by some of the world's brightest folks. What gives? Even I myself (an intelligent male in his own right) tend to say or think dumb things. Think about the dumb and untenable things said by Kant, Hume, Stephen Hawkins, and Arthur Schopenhauer. Some of their thoughts strike a person of moderate intelligence as "dumb" with only a few moments of reflection.
