You're labelled from birth. How? Because you're born with the future you die with. Maybe there's alot to be said for the idea of "predestination". I was the youngest of three sons, and both of my older brothers just did nothing but raise hell and terrorize their high-school teachers. I was several grades behind them, so by the time I got in junior high, guess what kind of reception I got from my older brother's former teachers? "Oh, God- not another one of THEM!!" I was a nice kid (and I emphasize "was" in past -tense), but my brothers screwed up any chance I had of proving myself to be different from them. I was labelled "dirt" before I ever opened my first English Literature book.
Labels in here barely arouse my interest. I am my own label, and that is, from a religious view-point, what I call "unaligned" with any known denomination.
And even that is fading.

No, if someone feels that none of the labels fit, then he/she shouldn't worry about it. I think the labels can help people understand the reasons behind questions and answers, though.

No not really.
I am agnostic {placing label firmly on my forhead} but I appear to answer more of the atheist directed questions, yet I try at times {abviously not tonight} to ask sincere questions from a Christian standpoint.
Thats my label and its sticking to me.

Why would you need labels when all you have to do is read their question or answer? Not necessary.

Of course, and you also begin to possess(at least in their minds) the traits associated(not always real) with your group.
Ex
We atheists are evil satan worshiping immoral baby eating soulless gay liberal unpatriotic abortionists.
Jews killed christ, are immoral and love money
Indus worship cows
Muslims use turbans and bomb belts
Pantheists and wiccans are witches(in the pejorative sense)

Certainly not. I hate titles and labels... they are limitations to my great powers as well as everyone else's...

Most people have some sort of belief system. If you want yours to be anonymous, then that's okay. But how would you base your point of view? Up to you...
