I have been sick for about 2 week, constant nausia and a low grade fever, light cramps/pains.... no other symptoms...it was CONSTANT and for the last week has only been for about 4 hours or so in the morning....

i have been feeling better the last 2 or 3 days and eating more, and gaining weight back (i had lost about 5 lbs over the last week)....

anyways, they did urine and blood tests...but no fecal tests...i was wondering if a parasite would have shown up in a blood test. thanks

i meant to say-
it WAS constant for the 1st week, then has gone to morning sickness lasting about 8 or 10 hrs (about 8am to 6pm) and over the last 2 or 3 days, it lasts about 8 am to 11:30am...and is no longer nausia, its more like i am uncomfortabl in my abdomen, light pains in random spots.

Parasite testing is dependent on the type of parasite suspected and, even then, only about 5% can be tested for. Tests include: blood, feces or skin biopsy...dependent on type of parasite.

No, parasites do not take care of themselves. Medical intervention is required and that intervention is also based on the type of parasite.

I hope you find our your problem soon and feel better. Good luck!
