Yes, both verbs have a preterite form, but it's used in a different way, you'll see:
Me encantó (I loved it!)
Te encantó (You loved it!)
Le encantó (He/She/It loved it!)
Nos encantó (We loved it!)
Les encantó (You/They loved it!)

GUSTAR (same order)
Me gustó (I liked it!)
Te gustó
Le gustó
Nos gustó
Les gustó

And there's some other combinations, like "Le gusté" (He liked me!), "Me encantaste" (I liked you), "Me encantaron" (I loved them), "Les gustaste" (They liked you)

Encantar and gustar do not have a preterite from in the the same sense as other verbs do. This is because they are reflexive verbs. However, they can still be organized into their respective groups of the yo, tú, ella/él/usted , nosotros, ellos/ellas and ustedes "forms".

They are as follows:

Gustar:
I liked = A mí me gustó
You liked = A ti te gustó
You liked (formal) = A usted le gustó
You all liked = A ustedes les gustó
He/she liked = A él/ella le gustó
We liked = A nosotros nos gustó
They liked = A ellos/ellas les gustó

Encantar:
I liked very much = A mí me encantó
You liked very much = A ti te encantó
You liked very much (formal) = A usted le encantó
You all liked very much = A ustedes les encantó
He/she liked very much = A él/ella le encantó
We liked very much = A nosotros nos encantó
They liked very much = A ellos/ellas les encantó

Hope this helps :-) Take care!
