I'm researching keep checking back..Try this before messing with the monitor buttons!
Ok, hover your mouse over the screen area (not any object) then right click, go to properties. Once your in there click desktop tab, on the right it will say tile, stretch or center. Try changing them and see what happens.

If that didn't do the trick then go to properties again and click Setting tab, there is a slider that says screen resolution Mine is right in the middle try it there if that not it then slide it over one toward more. Press apply. That may be to big though. You have to press apply for it to take effect. If it is to big just go to properties and put it back like it was. and press apply.

You can change the font size in properties under the Appearance tab.

im not sure what kind of monitor you have, but there should be buttons/dials under the screen itself that you can press until you find the screen adjustment tab and you can fix it there, it might take some fiddling with but it's there, also there might be a restore to default button if you can find it

On the desktop....right click your mouse and go to the properties page. From there go to the settings tab....look at the screen resolution and adjust accordingly.
