In previous generations it seems like the people had something to say and were going to say it no matter what the cost. But today it seems like the younger generation doesn't care about whats going on around them and if they do they aren't saying anything.

I want to know how many people out there care about their environment and the world around them (global warming, the war in iraq, starving people everywhere, genocide in Africa) and I want to know what they want to see happen, what they want to do about it, and how they are going to make an effort.

If you don't care then we don't want to hear from you.

Hi I'm doing some research for smelting copper by using an electric cubicle furnace and have encounter alot of air bubble in the smelted material. Do anyone know how to dissolve the air bubble? Do i need to add any chemical or material before the smelting process? Please Help!

Just want to hear from anyone who has had surgery that can tell me the feeling right when your going out, can you describe it? I am super nervous to get surgery and have been put under anesthesia once before when I was 6 years old, and I remember it feeling like your fading away, very scary. Help!

I have been homeschooled for the last 5 years and I was takin out in the first place because i have dyslexia and my school was not following my IEP..If you know what this means then answer this question if you dont kow what it is then dont cuz i dont wanna explain. anyways and I was thinking about going back to public school but I also have OCD and I have really bad nerves that make me thnk to much and i over think things. but im going to be a Freshman and I really dont know if I wanna go bak or not. I am looking at laptops for college and I need help deciding which to buy. I'm stuck on deciding between brands, and the different types of processors. I want to go with either an HP or Toshiba. I've heard mixed opinions on the Intel vs. AMD processors, and even mixed opinions between Intel's Pentium and Intel's Core Duo processors. Any help in clarifying all of this is appreciated!

First, I've spotted the TOSHIBA A135-S4527. It's nice because it's right in my price range ($599 after rebate) and has all I need: 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD, perfect screen size, average/okayyy battery life for the price.

I've also been keeping an eye on the HP DV6324US for the past few weeks. Nice price, but when I compare it next to the Toshiba mentioned above, the specs are relatively the same, but more $$$. The biggest difference is the AMD Turion 64 X2 processor.

Can anyone help me decide between these 2 models, or any similar ones in the same price range? Also clarify Pentium Dual Core vs. Core Duo

I switched the food for my fish about a week ago. They eat about 3 times a day and I have 1 very large fancy goldfish with red crown, 2 white ryukins, 2 black moors, 2 plats and 1 regular goldfish. We have had them for about 4 months. We were going thru a lot of food because the females ( 1 fancy, 1 black moor, and 1 white ryukin) were eatting so much food. I bought Laguna Medium size Goldfish and Koi food. I think maybe our White Ryukin has gotten swim bladder from the new food. We are quarantening her to a bowl with an air hose for little while. I am going to not feed her at all for a day or two and see if she starts to do better, then ill feed her peas till she is better for atleast a week. We still have some of the smaller blood worms and the fish shaped tetra goldfish food that we can feed her when she starts getting better till she is completely better for at least a week. I need to know how long to give her. Should we just wait till she either gets better or stops breathing?

My furnace is still working. When I turn the thermostat to cool or just in the on position it will not work. I put the funace in myself last fall. I believe that the wiring and the breakers are all fine. Any ideas?

My sister accidentally backed into our house this morning with her car. While the damage to the car was only moderate (There was a large dent in the bumper, a few smaller dents, and some scrapes), the damage to the house was somewhat extensive. It damaged the electrical lines, telephone lines, etc., not to mention the damage to the walls, door, and shingles. We had an "emergency contractor" repair most of the damages today, but as far as insurance, my dad assumed that his home-owner's insurance should cover the damages to his house (with a deductible of course). But somebody I know told me that the home-owner's insurance can go after the car insurance because the damage was done by the car (which is also in my dad's name). This would in turn raise his car insurance rates, which he does not want. What will the home-owner's insurance likely do in this situation? Should we file a claim on the car? Everyone on the auto policy is accident-free, except for this one complicated situation.
