I can't remember the name of this movie!
A town or city is on fire and has to be evacuated... in one scene a childrens ward in a hospital is being evacuated by a fat nurse, she gets all the kids out but is then crushed by a wall of a collapsing building.
This is all I remember of the film.
I saw this movie when I was a kid on British television in the 80's and have been trying to find it ever since. PLEASE HELP! Thanks....

My parents don't want me to go into Law Enforcement. I feel this is where I should be. I have had an interest in Law Enforcement for about 2 years now ever since I graduated from High School. I have tried explaining to them this is where I want to be. As of right now I have a great job, but it isn't what I want to do. I want to be able to help people. I want to be a full time Police Officer or School Resource Officer or something having to do with our Sheriff's Office. I just can't seem to make them understand this is what I want to do. I have thought about this and prayed about this and I feel this is where I need to be. I need some suggestions for how I can get my parents to understand that this is what I really want to do with my life.

I lost count of how many times she has either lost or forgot her buspass. Today I told her she has to walk. (as of the past year i have been without a vehicle. So scrounging up a ride isn't easy and today noone is around anyway. I'm thinking maybe she'll learn to remember if she has to walk. Am I out of the ballpark? BTW she's 12 years old.

I have a 4 and a 3 yr old , I was wondering if I can homeschool my kids. I speak Romanian and French and my English is ok but not perfect , I do not know a lot about education here in the US, but I heard the schools&teachers here don't have high standards of education , not to mention the moral values in the schools today . I heard the students don't have any respect for the teacher,are noisy in the classroom , they don't learn too much , which made me think about homeschool , but I am not to confident I can do it, especially that I am not a teacher. I consider myself educated, I went to nursing college in Europe , and know a lot about History,Geography,Chemistry,Biology etc
but I still don't know how to teach my kids and what they should learn . Also I have limited resources to buy curriculums when the public school is free. What do you think about public schools are they that bad?

Sex is a great, positive thing. It feels good and it's good for your body. Having sex with someone you care about is a wonderful pastime, and if you're not focused on "marriage first", you don't have to worry that you're marrying someone out of lust rather than love.

I knew a LOT of Christians in college who married because they thought they were in love, when they were really just horny. After the sex wore off, so did the marriage. Statistically (or so I've been told), divorce rates are higher among Christians.

If both partners are tested and disease free, and if condoms and birth control are used, sex is safe. So why is it bad / immoral? And why would you expect (assuming you do) your spouse to have saved him / herself for you? Many people don't get married until their mid-twenties, which is well after our sexual maturity. Why would we miss out that experience?

The reason I ask is that the Catholic church is strongly anti-gay, and maybe the priests think it will be "less risky" to act out their sexual impulses on children than on, say, male prostitutes.

Not a comfortable question, I realize, but it's good to understand the threats that are out there.
