im Christian and i beliebe God made he universe

2007-05-28 10:09:02 · answer #1 · answered by Wikisidr 3 · 1 3

i was raised by an athiest mother, humanism, is closer to her religion. When i became of age someone gave me a bible so i became the stereotypical BORN Again christian. But as a young adult i found the mormon religion and Joseph Smiths testimony to be MORE compelling above any other christian religion.
However, even among the latter day saints there is so much conflict between beliefs and i believe also, that secret combinations dictate truth and doctrines of men have taken over the place of the Holy Ghost and the truth has changed in the last 100 years.
As far as the universe is concerned, between the idea of the hindu belief that life is a dream and the Matrix, there has to be something real, and this life and universe is just a program that can be turned off or expanded according to Gods will. Although the matrix is fictional, there seems to some amount remote veiwing that is used to SEE what Reality truly is. For it is clearly written that there are 3 heavens and again it is written that there are 7 heavens and then it is written that God exists above all heavens. Mormons teach that there are 3 degrees of glory, some say there are 9 heavens if you count each degree as three parts of heaven each. They teach that God exists Near a place called Kolob, and yet i think its correct to say He actually exists outside of this universe in a separate place above these heavens. It is also correct to say that God can come and go in this universe as he wills.

Some things come in a package like the fruit of the spirit. It says fruit, singular, but there are about nine of them in the package. When you listen to the spirit through your intuition, it's as if God was talking to you and you get all the fruit, if you listen and ask questions about the unusual ideas that come to you. You get answers about the universe and you get so much love you just gotta tell the world or help people, ya love 'em so. You can't have faith very well without the guidance ot the spirit. "Faith is evidence." No evidence, little faith. Faith is part of the fruit of the spirit. So's self control. Awful hard to follow the ten commandments without the spirit and self control. We call it intuition, but the spirit speaks through it. It's just hard to tell which is your own thoughts so you "test the inspired experessions to see if they're from God." So simple. Hidden in plain sight.
Emotional Intelligence courses are taught in major corporations now to employees. It leads you to intuition and hopefully basic spirituality with basic metaphysics as a logical next step. Metaphysics explains much. The spirit explains the bible. "The spirit of truth leads you into all truth, even the deep things of God." Straighforward, huh. Only hard to believe. The scientific method is to test it out. I suggest reading up on intuiton and emotional intelligence or the like, because the brain needs brain food, if it's going to figure anything out. Intelligence is also information, like in the Central Intelligence Agency. They're supposed to gather intelligence, which is to say, information.
Catch the promo for "The Secret " or the book. Paris Hilton was videotaped with a copy. You don't want her to get ahead of you, do you? The movie clip's not perfect, but it's a fun start. The movie is not in the theaters because it's a secret. Shh. If you expect it to be too scientific, heck, movies should be fun. That's the right spirit right there, but it talks about the universe a lot.

I believe the universe was sneezed out of a being called the great green ackelsiezer. I live in dread of the coming of the white handkerchief. sorry, couldn't help it. Love that book.

I'm an atheist. I believe in the big bang. We don't know everything but we are still looking. New things are learned everyday. It's a great time of technology and science to be alive. And the universe is big, very very big. So big it is beyond comprehension. Who knows whats out there?

We cannot fully comprehend the vastness of the universe. We also cannot understand how it can ever end or can go on into infinity. Since these are questions the answers to which are still way beyond our grasp, it's easy to understand how so many people can simply chalk it up to supreme powers of a supernatural diety. Isn't that a just a copout? Why can't we just admit that we still have a lot to learn and it's going to be a long time until we can fully understand - if ever.

i'm atheist but Atheism is not a religion retard. we don't preach our way of thinking. as far as the universe goes, I only believe in what man has discovered. I will not make up stories about how the universe was created and who did it.

nobody knows and I'm fine with not knowing!! maybe someday we will. I live in the now.

I don't know what category I fit into, but I believe god is Nature. By this I mean that if there is a god, it is not concerned with humans any more than the animals. God is everything and it is nothing (and definately not resembling a human). The only evidence we have is revealed through science and the laws that govern our intricate world.

I am a Pagan and I believe the universe was created through evolution. But there is no way to know for sure about anything.
