Just watched the last movie: Nemesis, and I was just wondering how many decks the Enterprise ("E" is it?) has? Also, how many crew does it have?

(I know this is fiction, so no need to answer with "None! Its made up!" or the like, and I also am well aware how sad this quesiton is so no need to make any reference to that either! Thanks)

According to Picard in First Contact the Enterprise E has 24 decks, but later in the same film a security guy reports that the Borg control decks twenty-SIX up to eleven. In Nemesis there is a deck 29 (and for some reason Picard sends Riker and Worf from the bridge, the furthest point from deck 29, to go and deal with the Reman intruders on deck 29!). How many decks the Enterprise E has is therefore open to debate. It's hard to see how a refit could add several extra decks without significantly altering the shape of the ship....

Hello fellow sad trekkie! My Star Trek Encyclopedia tells me that the Enterprise-E, Sovereign class was launched in 2372, was 680 metres long, had 24 decks and was the sixth ship to bear the name. But crew numbers aren't shown-some feckin encyclopedia! Think it was written before the movie. Love Star Trek. Think it's a toss between Voyager and Enterprise as to which was the best. Cant believe they're not gonna make any more. Not as far as i know anyway

24 decks initially. But by the time of Nemesis it had undergone a refit, and the number of decks increased to 29.

Crew, I'm not sure about.

29 decks. I couldn't find an exact crew number but it's over a thousand.

1200. 42.
They keep the cakes on decks 23-31 inclusive.
There was a deck 69, but they had to close it.
The bathrooms on deck 21 were closed because they were forever being block by Telurians.
