A couple of times I have hit my back on the vault because I run sooo slow. but I just can't seem to keep a fast, steady run. I really don't like to do front handsprings, but I love the sport so I don't want to quit. Should I just run fast and jump and not even think about it? IDK. Also when I am running should I look down at the springboard then the vault before I go on it. (while running) or should I be looking up past the vault and just go? Idk. Give me any vaulting tips at all. Thanks

I have put a deposit down (no lease) for a home I thought was perfect on first inspection. Now I find many problems, like the door lining is rot, there are no light fixtures in the bedrooms, and the back porch is weak and the boards bend. Could we request that these be repaired, and the porch replaced for safety issues? I've read that I should take pictures of damage before moving in, correct? We shouldn't have to pay out of our pocket for the repairs, right?

A man walks into a pet store and says, "I'm playing Long John Silver in the play Treasure Island, and I'm looking for a parrot. Can you sell me one?" The pet store owner says, "You don't want a real parrot, it'll squawk all the time and poop on your shoulder, and what if it falls off during the play?" The man says, "Well, I want to be as realistic as possible." The pet store owner says, "I've got a stuffed parrot you can use. Can you pick it up on Thursday?"

"Oh, I can't come on Thursday. That's when I'm getting my leg cut off."

I beleive that no one on earth can predict when teh world will end. Only God our Heavenly Father can. He already knows, so that means no one on earth knows.
Therefore, people down here can't tell us when the world will come to an end.

Thats what I believe.

I haven't used my camcorder in a while but I need it for a project so I plugged it in, it turned on fine, I put a tape in it, that worked, then when I took the tape out, the tape reader compartment would not close. If I push it where it says to, it closes for about 2 seconds and then pops open again, as if I wanted it to open. But I don't. I could really use some help here! I need this camcorder for a project over the weekend! Any ideas as to what could be wrong??

Can we all rejoice and be thankful to God that we are all alive today, to see another beautiful day and realize that we are all ONE. I want everyone to say something nice about someone right now (let's ignore any racist trolls).

I love you all! Let's all smile!!!!!!!

I heard a story a little while ago that pissess me off. Some people went to a firehouse and noticed that there were no women and said that there was discrimination in the hiring of firefighters. The firefighters argued that women applied but for the final test, they had to carry a 160 pound body on their back and climb out the window and down a ladder. None of the female applicants could do it so the fire department was forced to make the body only 100 pounds, and then more women made it in. That is ridiculous! Nobody weighs 100 pounds except for skinny little ten-year-olds! My dad weighs 250 pounds and if some weak (no offense) woman comes in to save him, he's gonna die. While I do believe that women are vastly superior to men in many ways, we do have some things on women and people need to agknowledge that. We can't go around pretending that men and women are both the best at everything. There are jobs meant for women and jobs meant for men.

So here is the issue. I need to find how many rectangles of size x,y will fit using a perfect grid in a circle of radius r. I know there has got to be an easy way to figure this out. The squares must be complete and not partial. The center of the squares align with the center diameter line of the circle. There is a equal space between each rectangle of d thickness.

So Rectangles of x,y dimentions
with d spacing between them
inside of circle of radius r.
rectangles are arranged in perfect grid pattern with the centers of the center rectangles aligned with diameter lines.

A recent survey showed that Aussies arn't exactly popular around the world.
Apparently the English refer to Australians as "JAFA'S" meaning "Just Another F'g Aussie" other countries thought Australian people to be big-headed and rude.

I'm curious to read what people think, I am Australian myself and take no offense to anything written on here.
Please, do write your honest opinion.

Cheers!

My fiance, with whom I built a house 2 years ago, has moved out of the house. We had lived together for 4 years and I came home to an empty house. The house is in her name, for interest rate reasons, but she has not been back nor will she contact me, answer emails, phone calls-no contact for 8 weeks now. Would this appear to be an abandonment of property? There are utility bills in my name. My license states this address AND there is mail that comes here with her first name and MY last name, as if we are married. Do I have rights to take over the house? I have not made payment due to she has all of the information. But I am sure that can be determined by a lawyer. Can someone shed some light on this very complicated situation that I find myself in? Do I have a case or will it be a waste of time and money?
