I beleive that no one on earth can predict when teh world will end. Only God our Heavenly Father can. He already knows, so that means no one on earth knows.
Therefore, people down here can't tell us when the world will come to an end.

Thats what I believe.

You are correct. Even Jesus does not know (Mark 13: 32). Jesus did tell us how we would know that time is near. These things would happen on a scale above anytime in history. (2 Timothy 3: 1-7) Is it a long time to us? Yes, but not to God. Why? 2 Peter 3: 9 tells He is not slow, but patient with us because He desires all to attain repentance not be destroyed.

If god knows everything thats going to happen before it does, then the the biblical concept of free will is a pile of crap(and christians claim the bible doesn't have a single contradiction?)......this is what I believe.

On another note: Most people try to figure out how the world could come to an end, and go from scientific predictions or from human behavior. The others just want to live their lives and not worry about it cuz the end of this world for them would be when they die.

Isn't that the way religion works.... heaven or hell only the father knows... all these claims of going to heaven or threats of others sent to an eternal hell and no one came back... either way the christian world is still waiting for Jesus to tell us what is what.... Sounds like a broken promise or even your god can't make it happen either way... it's not a good sign

Now you talk about the end of the world... another thing that can never be verified.... Every unanswerable question given credit to god... but things that cannot be proven or may never happen just keep people hanging on a wire....

Peace.... John Lennon did more to promote peace than any religious figure...now it's fashionable... can't credit religion or god with wanting peace that movement came from outside religion..

Justice came from outside of religion
Equality came from outside of religion...

Religion only jumps on the ban wagon after it is made laws in governments

So either your heavenly father is a liar,,, can't produce anything provable... or just don't really care about the people living on earth here and now... either way it's a sign of irresponsibility, or disorderly mind....
there is no intelligent design in religion... so how could we possibly give credit (assuming creation ,if just for the sake of argument) to god for the intelligence in the design of nature to one who has only been proven to have caused, created or designed religion...

In other words... the only proof of your god is religion... religion is badly designed so credit for what is intelligent can't possibly come from him.

I have believed that a while too. Matthew 24:36...No one knows about that day or hour...Not the Son nor the angels in heaven, but only the Father.

so he does know the future? why cant christians make up their mind about whether or not he KNOWS the future, they change that belief depending on the context, and whether or not it benefits them in that situation, you know?
