Now this is cheating but I am Australian and I think we are legends! I guess while they think of us as big headed we think of Pommies as posh losers who drink tea all day and Americans as a war hungry country but as with most first impressions, most people are not like this. For example when I went to England two years ago hardly anyone I knew drank tea or warm beer but they all had the same funny accent, which I guess they think about us. Same with Americans. We have bogans in Australia but so does every other country so all those people in the survey who didnt like Australia I want you to come over here and meet some of our people and see how nice we are.

I have this urge to apologize for the English ....good old human guilt, I guess... Well, let's see-I think Mel Gibson is BEAUTIFUL, Olivia Newton-John is beautiful, Michael Hutchins was AMAZING!! Um, I guess my limited info leads me to believe Aussies are a pretty people. Oh. And I love the beer commercial. I guess they're a witty people also. I'm afraid I'd have to know a whole lot more of them (personally I mean, unfortunately I don't know any) before I had a valid opinion about Australians as a whole...YOU seem fine to me...Maybe you should ignore the rumors of little minds... }:> Ah, Luvhurts?: You digress...

I assumed Australians were hard-working people, using their land to the best of their ability, and hopefully treating the aborigine better than Americans treated the Native Americans, but I could be wrong.
I've only met a New Zealander, and noticed the accent was different.

i've got on no account met an Australian individually yet television has given me a stable effect (glory be & hallelula). i like your accessory & there are not many i like. Do people stay interior the outback? uncertain yet i comprehend there are a number of that make a residing below harsh situations (ranching as an occasion) & i know their potential of character. All in all, you have a favorable photograph (with the exception of all those nasty snakes slithering around & approximately).

Hey, being an Aussie myself, I think the English are pretty rude in calling us JAFA'S, considering our heritage/ancestry is closely linked !!
Having travelled a little, I find us to be fairly honest and friendly to "foreigners" who come to our sunny shores. So I don't agree with their opinion !!

I LOVE the way they sound when they talk!!! It is the neatest accent ever! You know what I mean Mate!? My kids and I always try to sound like them but we just can't do it. We usually end up sounding like something never heard before!
