We have robots! We have hyposprays. We have standardized education. We have technology and socialiology and psychology that makes our ancestors cheer from the grave.
Yes, there are problems. There are ALWAYS problems.
Why would we want to destroy a capitalist system that has produced the richest nation on Earth and history, a representative republic that has made us the most powerful nation on Earth and history, and a social system that has made us the most diverse and culturally rich nation on Earth and history...

...all for someone else's ideology?

Can someone show me why, with:
1) SEVERAL (3 or more to avoid flukes) long-term (not recent developments that haven't been tested by time, at least 200 years) examples of nations that have what you want, and explain why we need to change to have what they have (vs. just doing it another way)?

2) Then tell us why you haven't moved there. I mean, having ONE or TWO qualities you want means giving up everything else we have here.

I just bought a gold ram from the fish store. I found out that they are cichlids but i dont know how i should take care of them....does anybody have any tips you can give me about keeping this fish safe and alive. it is really pretty and i want to keep it so any help would be great.

IT's really wierd. It's the outside of my neck and it hurts abit when I swallow but it hurts a lot on the front of my neck. It's feels a bit stiff and when i'm talking or chewing it hurts worse. it's been going on for a day or two now.

First David Beckham, then a host of other stars pleading for the return of Maddie, now the Pope.....don't you think this is all getting a little sensationalist. Maddie I'm afraid to say is probably never going to be found. Her parents shouldn't have left them all alone in the first place. What will the Pope say to that?? Of course he will forgive them, but can they forgive themselves? It may be true that only Divine intervention will help but miracles don't happen often. Sorry. They should return to the UK and concentrate on their 2 remaining children who will bear the brunt of this in the long run. If over £2million won't flush out any concrete leads to the person/persons that took her, nothing will.

A woman who was fed up with her husband for drinking too much asked their priest what she could do. She said that she was at the end of her wits and something just had to be done. The priest said to just leave it up to him and that she should call him the next time he comes home drunk. Two days later he gets the call and goes to the woman's house. He has her help him drape white sheets across the ceiling and walls. They put the bed he was passed out on in the middle of the room and emptied everything else. Then the priest put on a white suit with huge fake angel wings on the back. He tells the woman to wait for him outside while they wait for the husband to wake up.
Finally, the husband wakes up, still in a drunken stupor. He looks around and everything is a little blurry, but everything is white. Then he sees the 'angel' standing over him. He raises up on one elbow, looks at the 'angel' and says, "Is this the place I think it is?"
The priest says, "Yes, my son...you're dead"

i have really really bad allergies and nothing helps me! not benadril (sp) or advil...NOTHING!! what should i do to help me feel better? i get them like twice a year, in the fall and in the spring and i dont even know what causes them, a nd its not just when im outside either.

symptoms include:

itchy / runny / stuffy nose
itchy / watery eyes
sometimes swollen sinuses
