I just downloaded a video which took ages but now that it's complete I can't view it! The sound comes on but there's no picture.
Can anyone tell me what to do?

You may be missing a plug-in. Check to make sure that you have the latest version of whatever viewer you are using. PM with the video player you using and I can give you more specific advice.

Could be a codec issue. Try downloading VLC player, and playing it with that...

well what is the extension ?
is it an avi,mpeg 4,mp4,fla,swf
use VLC it plays most if not all media formats

go to media player and see if it shows it. hope it helps!
