Your government wants the oil in another country. So, the military is sent there to make sure the oil stays secure. Is this "defending your country" or is it "defending your country's vested interest" ? Answers of the type that say, "It's both," will be considered null and deleted.

n Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name. For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin,
Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of "cocktails", "highballs" and just a good old-fashioned "stiff drink".

My dad has recently suffered a heart attack, and when he was in the hospital he was diagnosed with high cholesterol, as diabetic and with gall stones. He has been told to avoid sugar, salt, high fat and greasy foods. I can't seem to find anything except salads and vegetables that find into all three categories!! Anyone out there with some advice, and maybe even recipes or sites to visit would be greatly appreciated.

I've already posted a press release to my local newspapers and have gotten contact information for the larger newspapers like the Washington Post, New York Times and Baltimore Sun. I am looking for things like trade magazines and community publications that other small business and home-based business owners read, since they are my target market. Any help is greatly apprecated.

Some people think that discrimination against homosexual people should be allowed because they call it a 'choice', and they say that if homosexual people do not like being denied certain legal rights then all they have to do is change their sexual attraction.

Although scientific studies have shown homosexuality to be biological, religion has not been shown to be biological. Religion is a choice.

Since religion is a choice, should there be no legal protections based on religion? If someone of a certain religion does not want to be discriminated against, all they would have to do is convert to another religion to avoid discrimination. Do those who want to deny legal protections for homosexuals by calling it a 'choice' agree that the choice of religion should be denied those same protections?

Even if you think homosexuality is a 'choice', isn't denying certain rights to homosexuals while wanting those same rights in regards to the choice of religion hypocritical?

1) Since several religious denominations (United Church of Christ, Metropolitan Community Church, Unitarian Universalists) perform same sex marriages;

2) Since the First Amendment of the United States Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof";

3) And since the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act respects the establishment of religions that do not perform same sex marriages while prohibiting legal recognitions for religions that do perform same sex marriages;

Isn't legal recognition of church marriages between consenting adults of the opposite sex while refusing legal recognition of church marriages between consenting adults of the same sex unconstitutional?

Let's assume the hour glass sand is in its sixth decade and yet, energy for dancing, dining, movies, conversation is still high. Avoiding the legal jungle of divorce seems like being a coward but avoiding those unwanted consequences also looks favorable, too. What to do? Can someone who is not sleeping with former wife be considered single and if someone comes along that's really a perfect fit get on with his/her life?
