When people forsake you in relationships,does your pet become all important in your life or maybe your life was already dedicated to your animal and that is why your relationship failed.

Perhaps more important than some people. For example; if I had to choose who was more important out of an evil rapist and a stray dog, I would choose the dog.
Your pet may become important in your life after a bad relationship because your pet (especially a dog) is always there to comfort you but never speaks cruel words. Dogs are loyal and loving. People can be cruel and spiteful.

No my animals are not more important than the people in my life but they are important. Animals are usually much nicer than most people and yes I would rather spend the day playing with my dog than trying to talk politically correct to people. You just about can not interact with people anymore for fear of being sued or beaten up. Well maybe I do like animals more come to think about it.

Relationships will come and go all thur your life.
But your animal will always be there (loyal, forgiving, loving etc..)
So my animals become important in my life because I made the decision to get them! ( Now they are a part of my life)

My dogs are more important to me than most people.
I'm not a big fan of "people."
I've come to realize the world would be a better place without certain people. But for me, MY world is a better place because of my dogs.
That's just how it is and I don't expect everyone to understand.

That depends on the person and the animal in question. At best it's situational and I can't really make any kind of all-encompassing answer to definitively satisfy you.

I don't think they are more important and I don't think they are less important.
All I can say is that my cat has never left me with the overwhelming urge to bang my head against a wall.
I can't say the same thing about the agent of satan who call's herself my girlfriend.

i hope that if you think animals are more inportnant than people that you dont go into the veterinary field. people are the most important. animals have their place in our society and world, always will but people remain on top.
