Depends on what you are looking for. Low crime rate? Employment possibilities? Good school system? No sales tax? Low property tax? Night life? Nature? Lack of pollution?

If you are looking for a place that has particular features, ask about those features. Otherwise, the answers you get about the best place to live may not support your values.

Nashville, TN- after being raised in SF for 27 yrs.(too expensive now, but still wonderful, of course), Lake Tahoe for 12 years(beautiful, but too cold),and Las Vegas for 9 yrs.(too transient and too cheesey- no place for children). We've been here 6 yrs. and love it!
