Life can develop on Jupiter's moon, Europa but it can't on Jupiter itself for the following reasons:

1.Jupiter is made out of gas so it be impossible for any organism to survive on Jupiter.

2. The gas pressure, gravity, temperature, and storms also make it impossible for any organism to survive on it.

3. It is far away from the sun.

4. there aren't the necessary ingredients for life on Jupiter like water and oxygen.

Mostly that they have nowhere to land as it is a giant gaseous planet. Gravity close to the core will be very high, so potentially crushing life. The overall temperature is only slightly better in the last kilometers of the gas clouds, which limit greatly the possible organic interactions with lower gas layers (and other organic compounds).
Also, who says gas, says little density, and light density is pretty bad for chemical reactions to occure at cellular scales.
Also, their is missing some important chemicals in the Jupiter gaseous layers... Not such if a prebiotic biatomic agents is among the chemicals that form Jupiter atmosphere.

Some conditions that would make it difficult for organisms to live on Jupiter include the enormous pressure, the lack of a solid surface, the extreme temperatures, and the lack of liquid water.

Jupiter is a Gas Giant.

As such, it has no crust like Earth.

Jupiter is much colder than Earth, and some of the gases of which it is made are in liquid form, which is even colder.

It's too cold on Jupiter for organisms to grow and the atmosphere is gaseous.

Number one, Jupiter is a gas giant. Comprised mainly of noxious gases. You would suffocate from the heavy gases and die in no time, affectively drowning.

i agree with sentrynox there just isn't a solid surface and with any life form you must have water.
