There is this girl on my bus who currently does singing competitions and we're trying to figure out what type of songs would be good for her to sing at competitions this summer. Here is her myspace:

The first song "These Boots Are Made for Walkin' " and the second song "To the Lifeboats" [she is only singing the beginning part], are her actually singing. The other two are just goofy songs where she is just fooling around and not being serious at all.

What do you think would be some song suggestions for her to sing at competitions this summer? Other songs that have made her place have been These Boots Are Made for Walkin', Harper Valley PTA, Stupid Cupid, and that's all I can remember, but there is a few more.

Any Suggestions???

What I'm really curiouse about is how many Christian right conservatives will respond to this question with useless, trivial coments about what president Clinton did or didn't do with out answering the question? How many Cons will label me an anti-American freedom hater or a Liberal or a Democrat (of wich I am Neither)? How many Bush lovers will freak over the mental image of their beloved cowardly liar, grovelling on his belly to lick the hooves of his dark lord ? I wonder if this will piss anyone off ? Hmmmm . . .What are the odds?

Immigrants as a mass in Toronto any way are willing to work for far less than a Canadian -

They aren't familiar with labour laws they don't know thier rights

They refuse to stand up for themselves

In the 70's when Canada was a mostly British crowd - The labour wages were good and the cost of living was more than resonable -

What changed ?


Big corperate interests have a poll of exloitable immigrants who come cheap - They are being used as the wedge of big bussiness to drive wages down and circumvent the law -

If we could educate these immigants properly as to how things were and how they should be we could act as a goup -

We need not be divided into two camps - We could go back to dictating to business on the issues of fair wages and win again -

But only if we recognise the problem

The rich are dividing us up racially to have us avoid the fact we are in the same class and therefore have a common lives .

I mean the ones that claim to be Christians, yet hardly follow the teachings of Christ. They don't seem to love thy neighbor, they don't turn they other cheek, and they want to ostracize anyone who disagrees with them.

It seems as if they speak hypocrisy - and I don't think Jesus was into hypocrisy.

I have a terribly sore left foot. Its in the arch and spreads round the top of my toes. It gets worse after the gym. Its so sore I want to cry!! Luckily its not all the time but does happen every day. OUCH! Can anyone help? Am wondering if its fallen arches. I am seeing a foot doctor next week. Thanks!

On June 9th the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org) is having a 20 mile out of the darkness walk from 8pm to 5am through Manhattan to benefit suicide prevention in America. I am participating in this walk because I feel this is a good way to help those who have lost all hope and have no where else to turn. Ok to make to long story short my bf has moved in with me last week and his parents have been helping him with his bills due to he lost his job a month ago. Well last Tuesday 05/22/07 his parents got him a job working with the city. Well this weekend is a holiday and we planned on going down to the river with some friends. His mother stated that if he goes she will not help him anymore w/his bills and that he should have more respect for her bc of her help. I really want to go and if we go his parents are going to be pissed off @ us.I know he dont have the money to go but I do and if I pay for everything whats the big freakin deal? Please help or if anyone has any ideas that would help me out.. !!

i have a daughter whos 3 and the person im with him is not her real father. what happend was when i met her father i told him i was pregnant he said that baby aint mines. so i got mad. after his baby was born he asked me for real and i said no. i had meet the men i with right now and he accept the baby like his
