My best friend just got a divorce after 25 years of abuse. I would like to go out and celebrate with her but I don't think my husband would let me. My friend is also hubby's cousin. He knows we want be out looking for men or anything like that. I'm sure he'll say no. What should I do? Make a big fuss?

I have a male Beta fish and I was thinking of getting him a female Beta. Do you think if I do that he will try to kill her? I know they are mean fish, so I really don't want a war on my hands.

At school i wanted to prove a point that hair didn't matter to this hair insulting *****, but i took off my WHOLE, GROWN OUT FRINGE! Then i decided i wanted a new style so that the cut off fringe wouldn't be so noticable. My friends helped me even out the back where i'd cut off all my beautiful long hair. My friend is getting me a really thick ribbon to hid the horrid fringe that leaves me with a bald spot, but i dont know what to do to make it look better. I think the short fringe looks cool the way it makes a tuft, but the bals spot ISN'T good! Anyway to cover it up, or do anything else to my hair to get rid of this disaster? I love the style its gone into, but the whole fringe thing... BLEURGH!

i have a question that you've probably never had before so here goes, my 4 yr old son, logan, accidentally drowned 8-19-05 and was laid to rest at chilton cemetary in the small farm town we live in. when we made arrangements and my parents spoke to the old couple who "ran" the cemetery, they specifically told them that we (me, mom, dad, siblings, etc) all wanted to be buried here and the plot right next to my son was to be for me. the plots were $100 and my mom paid for hers and my dads but not mine as i was to pay when i could. well, times are hard, i lost my job and have been in a deep depression since he died. i visit "logans place" daily and stay for hours as i am at some sort of peace there. well, last week i showed up and to my surprise there was a fresh mound of dirt w/ dozens of pink flowers and arrangements all around right next to logan! i was so upset i havent stopped crying. i ended up calling the deceased womans daughter and she said quote "im sorry, the lady said you never paid and i wanted it, i have my receipt, what do you want me to say", in her spanish accent. she stated that her mom wanted to be buried "under a tree", yet trees are plentiful at this cemetery-why next to my son? i dont wish to tell you what was said after that as it was pretty bad! what is your opinion on this and if you were faced with this scenario what would you do as the cemetary caretaker or ones in charge? thanks so much!

I've been diagnosed with 'atypical' depression, because my symptoms have included sleeping far too much, eating a lot, severe lethargy and fatigue - as well as many other more 'classic' signs of depression.

Thus far, no medication has helped much - I've tried Citalopram(Celexa) Prozac, and Effexor.

Anyone have any specific knowledge about what might work well for atypical depression?

I am trying to login to the ftp server through smartftp, and i have done this before with a website i had before, but i haven't used ftp in a while and I don't really remember how to login... it might be different with different hosts, but i have 1 and 1. what address do i put in and what would be my username???

Ever since the election, many Conservative Republicans have been telling you that the Democrats were misleading you and they would never prematurely withdraw the troops from Iraq (although some of the Democrats really meant it, the majority never had any intention) .

Non-binding resolution after non-binding resolution, we kept saying that you were being misled .

Now, truth be told, there won't be any premature withdrawal from Iraq . They used it to fool you .
Same goes for the charlatan's trick of making people believe that the Democrats were gonna impeach President Bush . Never gonna happen . But it sure got a bunch of votes, now didn't it !!

My question to you is this. . . . . .Since a major portion of the Democrats platform was to withdraw our troops from Iraq , and some even ran on a platform of impeaching President Bush , have you taken any time at all to reflect.. . . . and perhaps be just a little more open-minded with what some of us have been saying all along ?

I work in IT and an ongoing issue I have with the laptops in our environment (I am laptop support for my company) is that the machines (all IBM systems, various models) constantly connect to both the wired and wireless connections, resulting in various network related problems (such as NOT automatically connecting network drives, slow system performance due to the machine being confused as to which connection to use, etc.). I am aware that I can shut off the wireless radio manually but is there something I can do that will permanently fix the problem?

hi there,
im looking for the name of a book i read as a child.. i cant remember the name but i remember it was about a group of animals in the woods, each chapter was an individual story, there was a birthday party for the ladybird, as well as boy who entered the world called Alex i think. im not to sure about the name. the description probably sounds a little like winnie the pooh but i gaurentee it is not. the characters were slightly more like the wind in the willows characters.!! ok Im going to be one of those ladies who asks this question and no haters please. Im just looking to share my experience mabybe get positive feedback and just see what people have to say. Ok so I had a stillborn a little more than 2 months ago. My hubby and I are trying again and tried during my week of my ovulation. My finace & I have been 2gether 5 years now and are having problems over his 10 yr old daughter. I have always been nice to her & tried to treat her as i do my own child who is 8. Then over Xmas when he had her for visitation she brought a journal with her & she wrote nothing but lies in it. This is not the 1st time she has made up stuff. She accused my son of hitting her & yelling at her & he wasnt even there. Anyway to make a long story short, her father had a talk with her, she never got in any kind of trouble or anything which is an ongoing arguement because she can do whatever she wants with no consequences and my son who lives with us 24/7 has rules he has to follow. My fiance is now on a different shift at work & has asked me to pick her up on the friday nights when he has his visitation. I do not feel comfortable being left alone with her since this last incident of her lies eventhough he says he knows none of what she has said is true. Am i wrong for feeling this way.

how can you call yourself a Christian and turn around and vote for Democrats

consider what Scripture says about homosexuals, killing babies, stealing, bearing false witness and its persecution of Christianity, removal of prayer and God from the schools you and I pay for, and the removal of religious symbols from our public places, not to mention now telling folks they can’t even say ‘Merry Christmas” because it might offend someone, how can you support such a party? Furthermore, can’t you see that all of this has been and continues to be the Communist agenda? I broke up with my Fiance who i've been seeing for two years. I then got together with another girl, two months later, and she broke up with me as well... after both break-ups i fell into a depression, and by the second, the rebound girl, I feel into a suicidal depression. I went to a counsaler and he told me that he would call me to make an appointment but never did... so he abandoned me. But ever since then I have been so angry. I have been angry before, we all have, but I have never lost control or even hit someone in anger. I'm losing it though.... for the past 4 months I have been living with this gigantic rage inside.... and I'm not sure how to control it anymore. I say things I don't mean to people, hurt people... and at the same time, I think i'm falling under a suicidal depression again. I'm going to see another counsaler to get help for myself... but how does someone get through something like this? How do they control their anger? I feel helpless. i'm 20. I dunno wat 2 do.

I try explaining to my husband that I have no sex drive right now. I will be 50 soon and am on hormone replacement therapy because I was going into menopause. I am diabetic, as well. He is so unromantic, too. I have just lost my desire for him or for anyone, for that matter. I never think about sex. He acts like I should want him whenever he wants "it." I don't think that way. To add to the problem...he does not have any romance about him. I have talked with him and explained myself, but it is like what I tell him falls on deaf ears. By the way, we have been married for 17 years and have seven children between our prior and present marriages. I want to desire him, but it just isn't happening. How do the rest of you who are like me handle this. He just gets upset that I don't have more interests in sex with him. Help!!!
