If you are a medical student why aren't you checking in the Radiology department of the local hospital? Talk to the Radiologist on staff and I am sure he/she will gladly help you.

I not sure you can get them gave to you. Many years ago I knew a woman who buy them. She recycle something from the film, silver or something. So, I not sure today, but, odds are they are sold for whatever it is they get from them.
