This is a museum opening in Kentucky on memorial day weekend.
It considers the bible a literal document, they tackle things such as dinosaurs, plate tectonics, carbon dating and the great flood. This is the website:
http://www.creationmuseum.org/plan-your-visit

Would you go? Would you take your kids?
I am planning a visit, simply because creationism fascinates me. I am undecided whether or not I will take my children. I will have to visit it first and decide.

So what are your thoughts (please incude what your religion or belief system is)?

I am a new homeowner and I've recently recieved a notice in the mail from the Comptroller's Office informing me of the Appraisal / Tax value of my home. I purchased my home for $149,000 in Clarksville, TN (Montgomery County). The notice states that the Appraisal Value is $132,500. The house is new construction and in a totally new neighborhood in our town. Can anyone tell me how the appraisal value is different from the market value, or if there's even a difference in the two? Thanks!!

I'm pretty sure that's what is going on. 5 years ago his bladder ruptured and was in the hospital for 2 weeks, said he had a mass in his urethia, unoperable, if they did, he would have to wear diapers, no way a cat. Anyway, lately, he has spells and can't pee for a few days, screames trying, then he starts peeing. A week later we go thru it again. Don't say, PUT HIM DOWN, he's my life, I won't do it. I'm pretty sure it's stones. Is there something I can give him daily to desolve these things? Seems to me he keeps makeing them. I sure hope someone knows, THANKS, it's killing both of us.

I wore some cheap earrings for too long because I forgot to take them out and now my ears are a bit green. This has happened before and gone away after a few days, but is there a faster way to get rid of it then just time?

When does morning, afternoon, evening and night begin?

So what are the times?

You could say morning starts at 12.01am, but its still night, so do you class it as night? If so, when does the morning start?

I was thinking;
Morning 5.00am-11.59am
Afternoon 12.00noon- 5.00pm
Evening 5.01pm- 10.00pm
Night 10.01pm- 4.59am

Who agrees?

Serious answers only please. I'm curious to see who supports the war and who doesn't and more importantly, why?

Thanks in advance for your serious answers.

**This question came to me while watching Rosie on The View - she is so adiment about her answer... I don't think anything could sway her. Just curious how different people get their view and why.

My daughter (from first marriage) just got married and my brother-in-law (brides step uncle) stopped payment on the check he gave her for her wedding gift! All this because my said current husband was pissed he didn't get to walk her down the aisle (neither did her father)! My daughter's other step-uncle didn't even send a congrats card! I am currently taking care of their elderly father who is also living with us as well as took care of their mother when she was on her deathbed. Is this anyway to treat a bride or are they just as immature and I imagine? I already told the husband that no more of his "family" gatherings would be happening at our house. I'm not overreacting am I?

I have noticed A LOT (almost everyone) suggests getting a divorce at the drop of a hat. Why is that? Does anyone believe in making it work anymore? Don't people believe in the vows they took? Please tell me your view on this!!

The Snake in the Garden = Mesopotamian Mythology.

Lucifer = Mediterranean astronomical mythology (The planet Venus)

Satan = The Egyptian mischief God, Set.

Satan in Hell = Pluto in Hades, Thoth as guardian of the Underworld

Satan in the book of Job = A Devil's advocate character invented for effect.

The Anti-Christ = Roman Emperors who declared themselves gods and persecuted the Christians and Jews.

Baelzebub = The gods worship by the other Canaanite tribes.

It seems he's just a convenient character that can be anyone or anything that personifies what you people don't like at the moment.

It never appears as a well thought out concept, just some vague nonsense culled from a dozen or more tales and mythologies.
