Dachshunds are extremely intelligent dogs. We use to have one called Honey. I usually like to choose a pets name from something that is characteristic to that animal. It may be color, or a personality trait.
Study her for a while and see what she does, and find a name that no one but you would think of. Coco comes to mind, or Dapple. Is she nosy? Most Doxies are, call her Curious. You are only limited by your imagination, and your powers of observation.
And also, don't be in a hurry. Your pet will have to live with this name for the rest of its life. Pick the right name, not the easiest to come up with. I also think that a pets name should be kind of cutsie unless your are naming a Rottweiler, then something butch.
