I use an access mdb on a Server based network running Server 2003. Both the front ends and the back end files are on the server. Six standalone workstations on the network use shortcuts to their individual front ends and all share the back end tables. Although the server and the PCs are very fast computers, I still experience long delays at times in working with the database. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have different flowers blooming right next to them and I want to know if I can cut the tulip stem and leaves all the way down. I always heard that you had to let it completely die before you could cut them back. Is this true?

So, I've been getting this annoying message:
You either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player.

I've looked through the Y!A archive and discovered that I need to uninstall, then reinstall this software. The instructions say that I need to download the Adobe unistaller and then:

Save the file to your system, choosing a location where you can find it (for example, your desktop). Macintosh users may need to open or unstuff the hqx file.
Quit ALL running applications, including all Internet Explorer or other browser windows, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, or other Messengers. Check the Windows system tray carefully to make certain no applications which might possibly use Flash Player are still in memory.
Run the uninstaller. This will remove Adobe Flash Player from all browsers on the system.

This is gibberish to me. Someone please explain this to me so I can understand it!

i know this sounds immature, but i suffer from social anxiety. i used to be able to talk for hours, around my friends anyway. now, even around some of my friends i cannot find things to say. it gets worse when i am around new people. i dont have any conversation starters. the new people i can not talk to and because i am in there presence i am nervous and cant talk to the friends i am comfortable with who are there. i am so scared that i am going to go blank and stay quiet forever. also, someone will invite me somewhere and its like, i can talk if we are sitting and listening to each other, but when we are in big groups i cant join the little groups that people will naturally divide into, do you know what i mean. i am afraid of rejection, and it prevents me from going up to people and acting like my true self. does anyone have stories i can learn from and any advice you can give me? that would be a big help. thanks.

I have done both. They're using our pressure to do something about illegal immigration as an EXCUSE for their betrayal. They are saying that if you had remained quiet, they might have allowed the status quo and not signed on to rewarding 12-20 million illegal aliens with permanent residence. But it was your complaints about illegal immigration that pushed them to this radical act! When you call, tell them you weren't asking for just "anything" to be done. No, you were asking that the laws on the books be enforced to cause illegal aliens to return home. Granting them permanent access to our jobs is the opposite of what you wanted. This is a bipartisan issue-with Obama, Tancreo, Romeny and Gingrich decrying the bill--Hillary is of course wavering.

If you don't want amnesty--don't give up. Are you willing to CALL YOUR SENATORS?

well my dad got this check for some money and he gave it to me but he forgot to sign it. So he goes off to london for a buisness trip for i think two weeks...and i just realized he hasen't signed the check. If i signed it for him and cashed it in at the bank would I be able to get in trouble if cought...how much trouble?
