do more cardio if you are trying to lose weight - the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat.
body needs one day a week off to recover and repair itself.

I've always understood that it was good to do 30 minutes of cardio 3 or 4 times per week.

Taking a day off from exercising, especially when you work out each day, is definitely not bad. If you want a day off, take it!

I rarely exercise, but keep fit by doing regular daily chores around the house, yardwork, walking (fast) at work, and playing with the dog. It's amazing how much money you can save by just keeping your house in order instead of paying fees to the gym and the maid service.

i think of it quite relies upon on some aspects: your age, how long you walk (quarter-hour an afternoon vs. 3 hours), and what you have chose. strolling isn't an especially stressful exercising for the physique, so this is accessible to do it 7 days a week and nonetheless no longer overstress the physique. besides the undeniable fact that, in case you have been working at an especially quickly and not undemanding %., 7 days a week could desire to be too lots. besides the undeniable fact that, in case you have chose to take a time off, that could desire to be advantageous. a time off each now after that's stable for you because of the fact the considered having to exercising 7 days a week for something of my existence is almost depressing, a minimum of for me.

Everything in moderation. Three to five days per week is more than sufficient. Also hatha yoga stretching while you watch TV is excellent during the day or evening (if you live alone).

I take 1-2 days off per week to rest my body.

1-2 days off allows your body to repair itself and for you to get somethings done. It will bring about a full circle of happiness. However, 35 minutes of cardio daily can be done 7 days per week without a problem.

Best of luck !

Actually, your body needs rest to repair the muscles and to replenish liver glycogen. Low liver glycogen is one of the triggers for the body to break down muscle to make glucose for vital functions.

Taking more days off is actually quite helpful.

3-5 days is okay, so if you're doing 6, you are doing more than enough. You should alternate the level of intensity each day so you don't burn yourself out. Good luck!
