I enjoy the lifestyle in Milwaukee. Can someone share with me what may be the best place to live? I want to be able to afford a nice home, yet want to live in a safe area. At the same time, I want to be close enough to the city to commute for work, and fun. I'm a single lady, and need a house, since I own 2 large dogs. Thank you!

oh gawd, i hope you can handle the hot summers. you know that the rents/properties are really high in cali? it's getting downright ridiculous.
why don't you go on craigslist.com
click on california, then sacramento...you can get a lot of info from peeps on there. best of luck to you.
