I'm always amazed by the recent generation and it's misunderstanding of what worship of God is all about. It seems we are being attacked from within with the stresses of how to keep the young and hypoactive alert and attentive during Godly worship. The novelity of the day is to stress the usage of what is called "contemporary" music during worship but is this compatable with the liturgical nature of Christian worship for the first 1900 plus years of Christianity or is it better left to converts and revivals outside of Christian worship? Obviously if one is unfamilar with what is liturgical than it will be harder to grasp what I'm getting at and I suggest studying ancient Christian worship before condemming my question.

My mate at work thinks its golf because.
1. You have to hit a small ball 6oo yards through grass, trees, sand, water and get it in a hole slightly bigger than the ball
2. different weather conditions
3. You face a completely different way to the direction you want to hit the ball.

I think he made a good shout.... any other ideas?

Hi there, I'm an electrical engineer. One of my friends who had a travel to Europe for passing a practical course relating to electricity has told me sth about a spray which is some kind of cleaner and helps removing dust and dirt from electrical connection points.
They could be used for cleaning electrical keys, fuses and many other electrical devices (for both High Voltage & Low Voltage) and when the connection points are clean enough,we will no more encounter things like arc, increase in electrical flow & ...)

I'm looking for the name and the manufacturers of this spray and I would be very grateful for any help from you .

I found out a few months ago that my, (airline pilot) now husband, cheated on me when we were going out with a flight attendent. I would have left the jerk in a second if I had known before we were married. It has now been a few months, and I just gave birth to our first daughter. I STILL think about what he did daily...... He told me it was before we were married and doesnt matter. I think it does, and besides I can't trust a man who only comes home for 2 days a week. How can I get over what he did? Will I ever ger past it?

I have been fighting with ssi for almost three years now, at first i had only the two back surgerys, then in one year i had to have two more and now im facing a brain surgery this june, why is it the people who really seem to need it have to fight it for i have a friend who applied and his back has had no surgerys and is only screwed up a litttle but he has bi polar disease, it really doesnt seem fare, i would rather work to provide for my family for im a single mother of a nine year old but i cant even walk up a flight of stairs to get to the tub to bath without want to sit down and cry from the pain, and now the brain surgery which is cause by a arnold chari type 1 malformation of the brain, either my back or brain problem can cause me to become paralized, i have a lawyer but all i get is it could take up to two years to even get in to see a judge why is that its been a year and ive gone from a four pointed cane to walk to a wheelchair, i dont know what to due ?

I have a six month old son and yesterday I fed him apple sauce for the first time. After he ate the apples he refused his bottle and just wanted to sleep. about a half an hour or so later he threw up everything he ate. This continued throughout the night until he was dry heaving. This morning however he seemed perfectly fine and ate his entire bottle. Could it have been an allergic reaction to the apple sauce or did he just have a 12 hour flu?

Do what you preach, (though it seems some preachers have changed the preaching to suit the wrong DOing).

If you met a Christian that when he prayed, God answered and the preaching was followed with power which can be felt, as well as signs and miracles like amputated limbs growing, the dead rising, etc would you believe? Would you follow Jesus?

I often work from home and my pc is positioned by the window in my living room. I live on a fairly quiet street and if someone walks along the pavement outside my house, they can see me through my window. Its amazing the amount of people that stare in almost as if they are seeing what kind of place i have! ( i hate net curtains or anything that restricts the light into my living room) I also stare out onto the street while im working. I just wondered what everyone thinks...........is it rude to stare into someones house as you pass their window, am i being rude by staring out onto the street? One woman last week actually stopped and pointed in at my sofa and said something to the person she was with, they walked on when they saw me sat here!!

Anytime somebody says that they "don't recall" as much as Alberto Gonzales did, you can bet that they recall d**n well whatever it is they did, they just never thought they'd have to account for it.
Republicans' feet are being held to the fire and they are being forced do all sorts of things they never wanted to do -- like answer questions about the Bush Administration's incompetence, debate the war in Iraq and get rid of tax breaks for Big Oil. With Republicans against the wall and out of power, there is no smear campaign too low or too cheap.
Need proof? Look at how quickly they got in line to lie about Speaker Pelosi's trip to the Middle East. Or that they've already launched attacks targeting the entire Democratic freshman class. Or the fact that not a day has gone by without a Republican claiming Democrats don't support the troops.
It appears that the republican will self destruct. Hopefully the good republicans can reform a new party

They come out with some big announcement that a certain food or drink either causes health problems or prevents them, and we all go running to the supermarket to stock up them, or avoid them like the plague. Then, a year later, they conclude that the particular food or drink either has NO real health benefits, or NO real risks associated with consuming it......

a few days ago i used dettol on my face..like on the nose bridge..cz there was a scar there..but the skin around it turned a dark brown colour..so i peeled off the dark brown part of the skin..n now my skin is a pink colour..how can i get the skin to grow back to its normal light brown colour?
