I'm angry that I can't get any respect :-) Seriously, anger is usually a symptom of deeper problems. We have a subconscious, but few are aware of it. This is where we store anger, frustration, sadness and all the negative emotions that we can't deal with. And sometimes the pot boils over. You have to get in there and clean up that mess. Trying to use will to control it won't work. You have to become aware of the complete contents of your mind, not just the surface stuff.

ooooh right now I'm so angry! a loved one was bullied & upset last week by trusted people and then I heard its been subtly going on for a while. people who are deliberately discourteous and disrespect me cause me lasting aggitation and resentment. this isn't helped when I think on a wider scale of mans inhumanity to man e.g. hitler, and i hate organised animal torture & abuse! i hardly ever get angry or express it, so I'm unsure how i can channel this anger in a constructive manner so i don't involuntarily explode. with me being a christian, we're taught to forgive and be slow to anger. however i think i heard that having 'righteous anger' is ok.

My religion doesn't teach to refrain from anger... it teaches to be in control of one's emotion (that doesn't mean refrain) and to understand Why and how best to handle it.

What gets my goat... Blind Hypocrites set me on edge, they honestly don't see they are being hypocrites but do the same action to them and watch them blow up... And, of course, most people would say if anyone messes with their family or friends... but in here, it's the blind hypocrites

Every religion + psychology + body & wellness professionals!!!

Anger is the #1 cause of aging.
Anger is a sign of depression.

What gets my goat ... when people worship the government and expect the government to save their "sorry butt's" ... when people say "I'm a victim" instead of "I'm a survivor" ... when my "Ex" brings his wife to my house ... and when I hear of/ see crimes against love.
------- ------- -------
Each anger situation is different ... but the foundation of recovery is "Deep Breaths", and sometimes-intense muscle contractions accompanying deep breaths.

I just try to keep it real. You know, do unto others... and if they're acting like total pricks do the same thing to them that they did to you. Besides, I'm an Athiest, so I try to get as far away from ignorant influences as fast as I can.

By the way, Mr. Mackie says "M'kay".

I get angry when I see people being bullied or brought down by others
I rarely get angry when things happen to me personally , I can cope with that

I deal with it in several ways
when it happens on here , I post a question in defence of those being bullied
when it happens in life , I speak with people ..... quietly and lovingly , but pointing out why it isnt right to do this
It works better when you make people feel bad about their actions .... rather than shouting abuse back to them
