As long as you're living comfortably, and not struggling, you're rich.

Being rich is a matter of spending less than you earn, it's not a function of income or possessions.

I would say anyone 25 with all that who makes a little less 50k pounds per year and has that kind of net worth probably inherited it and won't have it very long.

Ponder the old saying "a fool and his money are soon parted." You can restate this as "a young fool with money is HOT!"

I just can't do it , shoot the gorilla that's cruelty to animals , but will chase it with a bunch of bananas , make a gorilla calls , hoping it would put the suitcase down or or get beat up by a gorilla and watch it swing away with the bananas and the suit case

It depends on what your definition of "rich" is. In some cultures rich is defined by how many children you have. Others define it by how many wives you have. I've noticed you didn't mention anything about your personal relationships. Perhaps you don't have any because you're obsessed with materialistic pursuits. By the standards of the cultures I've mentioned above you wouldn't be considered rich but rather, quite poor. Sorry to break it to you.

I'd say he's a liar or lives off money from his daddy. A Ferrari F340 costs over £100,000 which is 3 years wages of £50K (after tax).

Once a person has enough money that he doesn't have to work for a living, he's rich.

Wearing designer labels or driving a ridiculously expensive car does not make someone rich. Smart people are those who could afford to do such things but realize that it is unimportant (and frankly shallow).

RICH === Income exceeds expenditure.

How RICH you are depends on how much your Income exceeds your expenditure.

If your Income is 50k and your expenditure is 51k then, for sure, you are POOR, no matter what you wear, what car you drive or what house you live in.

NB. If you have any Credit Card Debt. then you are well on the way to being POOR .. (because Interest Rates go up faster than Income)

A £50k salary doesn't fuel that sort of lifestyle. So a. it's a story or b. it's inherited (in which case Rich is appropriate) or c. this person is a crook - a rich crook

One of my friends who is very wealthy said to me "David, do you know what I would do if I won the lottery? Naive ole me said: No, what would you do with it? He said, I would put it with the rest and just carry on as I am. That is when you are rich. I must add that this was said by him in a jokey manner as he made his wealth by hard work and skill. He was not showing off.

Some of the richest people in the world with billions of dollars in assets still are greedy for more money. It is a matter of personal perspective.
