Having problem with Christians?

Question

It seems the non-believing world has a problem with Christians but even Christians have problems with some that profess to be Christians and are not.

The World doesn't want a definition of Christianity
The World wants a demonstration of Christianity

You know - walk the talk
Do what you preach, (though it seems some preachers have changed the preaching to suit the wrong DOing).

If you met a Christian that when he prayed, God answered and the preaching was followed with power which can be felt, as well as signs and miracles like amputated limbs growing, the dead rising, etc would you believe? Would you follow Jesus?

A powerless Christian doesn't pray

A Christian that prays and doesn't have power is not praying.

The Bible says that if a man does not believe Moses and the profits he wont believe one come back from the dead (Lazarus and the rich man) also says it is a wicked and foolish generation that seeketh after a sign.

You can not force anyone to believe or can you change one who you believe not to be living as he is preaching only God knows a mans hart. and only God can change it.

Christians are suppose to live what they speak, But we also know that we sin daily, that is why we ask for for forgiveness. I agree alot of preachers are afraid to have a backbone and step on toes they are to busy sugar coating things to gain popularity with people. I think they should give it to you straight and yes live by what they preach, if you get your feelings hurt then that gives you something to talk to God about and God will not lead you wrong. I will follow Jesus always and not because some preacher said or did something but because I love him and he is very much alive and one day I will get to meet him, Can't wait. God Bless!

I am a true Christian. People has lost their sight and focus on what a TRUE CHRISTIAN really is. It doesnt mean be a weekend Christian, meaning only be a Christian on Sunday, but being one throughout the whole week. I stand for God anytime, and that why I am putting this on here. God is the best. And yes, to the guy who said we (as Christians) think we only have the right religion, we do have the RIGHT religion. Jesus Christ died for our sins, and how could you ever abandon something that DIED FOR YOU. I will stand for God forever and ever. Why take a chance of going to Hell? Please, dont turn away from God, this may be your last chance, if you die today, where will you go? Think about it. God Bless.

I just answer this to another question. I am a Christian who speaks out against T.V. Christians (not all but most.)

I am a Christian and here is why many do not except Christianity. (and they have a good reason to be angry).

1. Many that teach GOD'S word, do not live by what they preach.

2. Those preachers and teachers of the word that we see on T.V. beg for money and then offer prayer... This sends a message that prayers are not free, yet they will tell you that GOD'S word, HIS love, HIS forgiveness, HIS hope, HIS everything is FREE just ask. And then they ask you to buy inspired books,tapes/c.d.s........

3. The preachers and teachers of the word, that claim GODS word is HIS inspired WORD and it is FREE, yet they have turned it into a market place.

The list goes on and this is sad! The WORD of GOD is free, HIS salvation and forgiveness is free, and nobody should twist what HE has said.

In order to follow Jesus and take up his cross,Christians must live as Christ lived, HE did not sell HIS Fathers inspired word, HE lived what HE preached and HE GAVE FREELY.

I think the problem is this.
Christians always want to set out their moral ans standard to all the people, not only to the christians.
I can understand that abortion is not a good thing to do for someone who believes. But nobody has the rigth set this rule out for everyone. The same is true with homoseksuality etc.

Please Christians don't set out your rules for other people. Follow your high moral standards by yourself. And by living a good moral life, you will attrack a lot of people who also want to life this way. This is the only good missionary or evangelisation. Living christianity as an example not as a law maker or ruler

i am a christian from India.
i'm converted to Christianity, not only by the miracles, but by the WORD. I turned up to Jesus thru Bible. and yes, GOD talked thru the Bible.
my family is an orthodox hindu family, GOD met us.
thru the trebulations we tasted his love.
no pastor or missionary or priest compelled us to convert. it was HIS will that he met us.
we also tasted HIS miracles ... i was a below avg student in mathematic, GOD has blessed me to hold First position in the University. Glory be toi HIM. irrespective of miracles, GOD's compassion and love continue to attract soul worldwide... and HE gifts em miracles too ..
If not We cannot face the protest here in India .
Thru these miracles we hav a reason to stand for Christ.
