I know what you mean. I hate to say this, but if you were an undocumented worker or alien, you would get the help you need. I saw on the news the other day a kid from mexico who parents drove here for help. Dont get me wrong, I feel for the kid. He was 7 or so and had a heart problem all his life and was in desperate need for a heart. Well, we (the city) placed him in a hospital and raised over $40,000.00 to help send him to another stats that has the best heart specialists. He was flown down there with his parents and was going to be on an organ list. If you know anything about oran lists, you know that takes months, even years to get a match...plus, you usually get put at the bottom of the list. Well, an update was made a few days ago, they kid got his heart and is doing great. His parents never worked a day in the US and are staying at a nice hotel, meals provided until the kid recovers. And then its back to Mexico. Funny, who is going to pay the hospital, doctors , nurses and medications used. We can do this for foreigners, but we cant help our own who deserve it and need it? Its sad.

I just don't know. But I sure think that health care ought to be a real campaign issue.
