I live in Canada and we have a short growing season. I would like to replace my grass lawn with a low ground cover that doesn't require a lot of watering or cutting. I don't want a rock garden or wood chips. I'll have to be able to rake leaves on it in the fall. I don't have kids or pets so it doesn't matter if it is "treadable". Any ideas?

Is it a sin if you look at porn? What if you are married and watch porn with your partner? Is that still a sin? People do have sex and that is how the"miracle" is happening afterwards. Is a 30 day notice sufficient or do I have to pay the remainder of the rent? No where in my lease does it state anything about it, but my landlord is being a jerk and says I'll have to pay it out. HELP!

What makes them so great?

My mom was hardly around when I was growing up and was always taking all of the money and blowing it on drugs. Therefore, my dad had to raise me on his own and he could honestly make miracles happen. I ALWAYS had everything I needed and even when he could afford it, NOTHING I wanted!!! He taught me how to be responsible and grateful for the things I have. Taught me to be independent. He made me go to school and the day that I graduated college, I told him that he earned that degree just as much as I did. I love my dad!

Does anyone else have an awesome parent that deserves some credit???

Today has been the hardest day for me since my father has pasted away. My cat Sooty is dying. She only has weeks to live. She has large tuma lumps on her belly, which has spread to her lungs, Kidney's. I cant stop crying, I know some people might find this strange but I'm not just loosing a cat, I'm loosing a friend, a best friend. Does anyone have any advice to help me through this hard time? I know he would not do his first love, Vanya, this way, but I need him soo much, and I do love him, what do I do ? What is going thru his mind ?
