Why do you think Porn is consider by the Church as a sin?

Is it a sin if you look at porn? What if you are married and watch porn with your partner? Is that still a sin? People do have sex and that is how the"miracle" is happening afterwards. THE BIRTH OF A CHILD! so what's the problem of watching porn? Why does Church seems to care so much about it? PLEASE HELP

Because sex is something the church frowns upon and for the most part they condone it only in marriage and only for procreation.... not for pleasure.

I think it's a whole lot of non-sense..... just another thing to add on to the list of things that people have ot kneel down & beg god forgiveness for... just another way to tie them down to the guilt post and make them feel bad for something pleasurable. If a married couple enjoys watching porn together, where's the harm in it? Especially if it's midget porn.... what's wrong with midget porn? It's just a little porn!

According to Jesus, yes. (He who lusts after a woman has already committed adultery with her in his heart.) But the old testament does not say any such thing. And whether masturbation without porn is a sin is never mentioned in the Bible. According to me, no, because sin is a completely bogus concept. But if you insist on believing in God, you should ask him directly whether watching porn is a sin.

This goes back to when Pope Sixtus the 6th licensed all of the brothels to the church. You could have all the sex you wanted if it was in a church licensed brothel. But would go to hell if you went to some other brothel. In my home city the biggest porno movie house and porno book store were on catholic owned property. They collected the rent every month for 20 years or more. Few people knew about it until they began rebuilding the downtown corridor and the names of the property owners came out. Once the public found out about it they kicked those evil people out.

Porn can be sacred, actually most porn shows humans getting along really well whereas religion fails at this mostly, so the church is envious that paradise is so easily demonstrated by focusing on the carnal desires, whereas they claim to be spiritual and just can't get along. instead of attacking porn they should be glad because it proves people actually can get along and forget their differences

yes it's still a sin, in a group or not. if I steal with a friend, is it any less wrong? porn not only trains one to lose control over their urges, but it also can have psychological effects such as seeing women a certain way, being impulsive, doing anything for arousal, and of course, one 'small' sin leads to another.

I think it's sin, because you are contributing to the horrible lifestyles the girls in the videos live. Most of the time these girls are on drugs, and they are not making most of the money either, which means they are basically being pimped out. Also, these girls are having sex with multiple men who they dont know, and that is a sin.

Because porn objectifies the human body, especially the female body. Studies have shown that men who watch porn are significantly more likely to abuse women, because it sends the false message that women like being abused and objectified.
