My period is a week late and I was just wondering what you would suggest as far as the best at home pregnancy test.

go to peeonastick.com they tell you the sensitivity of the test and if other women would recommend it and it also tells you if they have problems with them and it has pictures of some of the tests for you to compare good luck hope this helps

I don't think any one brand is necessarily all that much better than the other. What you really want to know is the sensitivity of the test - the more sensitive the better. Here's a link to a list of many common tests and their sensitivities:

Good for you for waiting a week - always best to give it some time. Best of luck to you!

Honestly I have use dollar store one and 20 dollar ones they all seem to work just fine honestly, best thing to do is to see the OB/GYN. I would wait another week or two first if you want to see the doctor but if you take the test and find out they usually dont need to see you till 12 weeks along or so but check in with your doctor first always

EPT>> I found out 2 days before my missed period and I tested at night.

They all pretty much work the same, so if you want to save a few dollars go to the dollar store.

if you don't care about money and want a fancy one, get the digital.

I've had generic and name brand ones be just as accurate.

I have firm faith and trust in the First Response Early tests.

First Response.
I took it when I was less than a week late and the results were correct.
Good luck!!

Any of them should work when you have already skipped a period. I would just buy the cheapest one.
