THis will be my very first time going to an open house for my friend, and I have some more to go later..Do people usually bring something to an open house?

It's not required, but if they are a really good friend, you might think of something appropriate to the occassion and the relationship. They probably have the food and beverages all covered, and probably even decorations... but how about something like a disposable camera or two labeled "take a picture and pass it on"?

Just take a card. Adults are expected to bring gifts, classmates are not.

If you have just graduated too, you certainly don't need to take anything. If you have not graduated a card would be just fine.

Yes. Its apprpriate to bring a gift unless you've already sent one in the mail.

At least bring a card with $10.00's in it. After all it is an afternoon out for you and his family is feeding you.

yeah, you dont own then anything but your presence since you were invited.......if you want to bring a gift it is up to you
