I am in the process of accepting a position at United to work in cusomer service. They say the starting salary is $9.47 per hour. I make $18.00 per hour at my current job. Is salary negotiable? I wasn't sure because I have never worked for a union before.

This mower has not been used in over a year. I had to take the carburetor bowl off and unstick the float. It still wouldnt crank and got to where it was hard to turn over, even with new battery. When I took the spark plug out, gas came out. I took the oil drain plug out and gas came out. What would cause gas to get into the crankcase?

People should respect him for all his great accomplishments. Instead, people are always putting a negative spin on everything he does. He's never been proven guilty of any crimes, he does a lot of philanthropy work for children, and he's given the world the greatest gift of all... song. He's probably the greatest and most influential musician in the at least the past 100 years. Everybody already knows all the great things about him, so why does he continue to have his name slandered and be treated like a mere serf and not like the King he is???

i just got a cast off yesterday that i had on for 7 weeks. my ankle doesnt really hurt that bad at all when i walk, its just my heel, right at the back, kinda near the achelee's (not spelled right) tendon. is this b/c i havent used my foot in a while, or what?

I went from 60 mg of prednisone and am down now to 15mg. I am being weaned off slowly. My question is when will my moon face go away. People told me at 20 mg but that didn't happen. My acne is gone and other side effects, any idea when the moon face starts to go away I am so sick of this!

As a mother and I understand that my children are only 1 and 2 1/2 but I cannot fathom ever using the word "stupid". I actually hate the word and I think it is wrong to use toward anyone. However, my husband recently became ill and couldn't work and I had to be the only one bringing home the "bacon" and he couldn't lift the children so we still had to send kids to daycare and we got behind on our bills. We have forever been trying to keep up. One of his parents friends donated money to help pay some of his medical bills, which has helped so much. Yet, we are still trying to get our other bills paid off too. Anyway, his parents called him stupid and I mean we are both working. I work 40 hours a week and he works 50 hours a week. Do you think they had the right to call him stupid because we are behind on our bills. I mean they said it very hatefully and then hung up the phone on him. I don't know if I am overreacting, but I am so so very very mad about this situation.

She would always say well at least you arent a single working mom whenever I would try to tell her about something that was bothering me. She was a single working mom and I guess naturally in her mind that was the end all be all of all probs. Its rough but why relate that to your own child. Has anyone run into this problem? I cant look at a problem from a healthy perspective anymore. It almost has to be life threatening and even then I ask is this a real problem. Please give me some thoughts or feedback. Thanks.
