People should respect him for all his great accomplishments. Instead, people are always putting a negative spin on everything he does. He's never been proven guilty of any crimes, he does a lot of philanthropy work for children, and he's given the world the greatest gift of all... song. He's probably the greatest and most influential musician in the at least the past 100 years. Everybody already knows all the great things about him, so why does he continue to have his name slandered and be treated like a mere serf and not like the King he is???

Congratulations on being one of the few smart people on yahoo answers! Poor Michael can't do anything without some tabloid putting a bad spin on it and most people are gullible enough to believe it! He should be given a medal for all of the good he has done in the world!!

♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥

Sure, he paid people off multiple times and wears the masks and is a total freak, so he must be totally innocent.

I say go ahead and treat him the way most of the kings throughout history were treated. Since he would then be likely to be assasinated, executed, deposed, overthrown or at the least imprisoned.

Sure, he had some musical talent at one point. But, like many so-called genuises, the crazy lives side by side with the gift.

As far as respect him for his accomplishments, he has completely diminished himself with his bizarre antics.

I personally think he and OJ should ride off into the sunset together.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. He's never been found guilty of ANY crime. And not withstanding that - He HAS DONE COUNTLESS POSITIVE THINGS THROUGH HIS MUSIC. He's they Best Performer of ALL TIMES.

If anyone has given back it's him!! That's one of the things that I hate about human nature - WE ARE SOOOOO SHALLOW!!. You give your all 99.9 per cent of the time and it's all good. But just slip once and that .1 per cent is sure to be remembered, dwelt upon, thrown in your face so many times over.

I am in no way comparing Beyonce to Michael but she gets a lot of flack from people as well and she does not deserve it. She's one of the HARDEST and consistent women in the business and she should not be blamed if the tabloids throw her in your face at every turn.

I am a firm believer in Give Credit to whom and where it's due!

Enough said. I'm 100% with you on this one.

I think Michael Jackson is a great entertainer, I don't know very many people who don't have a copy of "Thriller" in their CD collection, whether they admit it or not. But these charges made against him have really hurt his career and reputation, now people make fun of you if you say you like him.

The King is Dead...................died sometime in the early 90's.

Fortunately, his legacy is inscribed onto vinyl so that years later, others will get to hear what he did and understand he was not always a freaky, deeky, child toucher
