I live in America but sometimes I think its crap. I dont like the government, and I dont like half the people, and I dont like how the media glorifies violence. And I hate how people abuse the government by going on welfare and stuff when they're perfectly capable of working but choose to sit around and soak up hard working peoples taxes. Of course not all people on welfare or like that. Some people need it but some obviously do not. Maybe thats why the government sucks so bad.

Good question. I'm an Aussie and the last question I asked was about Amerigo Vespucci the Italian merchant and navigator whose family name America is derived from. But nobody out there seems to know and/or care. Very interesting.

I do think, because I'm not from America! : )
Never been there either. What I've heard about the people is:
They are warm and spontaneous. (My aunt, who has lived there for a few years.)
The women talk and laugh loudly. (My Japanese student who often has to go for work.)
They have unheathy eating habits. (A friend who was there for a holiday.)
Never mind, I like you guys, even though I've met only a few Americans in my life.

I'm from Sweden, and visited America(for the first time) for about three weeks ago, I really liked the country, every country has its bad side, Bush isn't the best man in the world, but everyone from there isn't like him...

i rarely think of america
but now that i'm asked this question - america's government sucks - i don't believe all those illegal immigrants should be getting an easy button to become citizens. illegals have been leeching off our system for years so i'm against any bill that would pardon them

i feel uneasy that America is either ran by oil tycoons or politicians that were previously lawyers. what would you expect? time for a change.
