THERE IS THIS GUY AT MY SCHOOL AND IVE KNOWN HIM FOR THREE YEARS NOW. I HAVE ALWAYS KIND OF LIKED HIM AND HE IS SOOO SWEET AND ATHLETIC AND FUNNY BUT HE HAS THIS GIRL FRIEND NOW. For example, regarding internationally monitored elections, torture, military spending, arms sales, nuclear proliferation and nuclear arms build up, and military actions that are considered dangerous aggression?

If not, why not? Isn't the best way to lead by example?

I remember in the 70s and 80s, there was a lot of right wing talk about left wing "moral relativism" and "situational ethics" yet on foreign affairs, America practices both. Whether something is immoral depends on whether we or someone else is doing it.

I think most Americans believe in all the idealistic stuff we say about human rights, democracy, and mutual respect our politicians talk about, and would like to actually see it practiced.

I hated the school uniform thing. One time we didn't have to wear blazers but now we have to WITH a school badge.. We always had to wear it neatly and that.. And if we didn't we would get send home.. How nice is that..?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years... i keep on mentioning getting engaged but he keeps on saying that hes not ready ... he says when you get engaged everything changes and i tried explaining to him that nothing will change... we talked it over and the only response he will give me is that "he's not ready to buy a ring" or "i'm not ready" or "marriage freaks me out" ... when his best friend told him that he was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him my boyfriend had a panic attack .. i dont know why he is like this but i wanna help him through it ... he's never had any bad relationships before... and our relationship is great ..its always been great and he agrees.... i just want to take the next step. and he has told me over and over again that he wants to marry me .... and then he will tell me that we will go look at rings but then he backs out ... and he says that the only reason he told me we would go look at rings is because "he knew thats what i wanted to hear"..

We have a soda machine in our office building at work. It's broken. We are out of contract with the distributor and we cannot get it fixed without paying A LOT of money. Our company's maintenance men do not work on our appliances. So, whenever anyone wants a soda, we have to use the key to open the door. We drop our money in the coin box on the inside of the door. Take our soda and lock-up the machine again until someone else wants a soda. This is such a pain.
Does anyone have any suggestions for my boss and I on what we can do about our situation. Are there any easier ways to sell sodas rather than using this machine? We use this soda money to by coffee for the office. Thanks guys. All serious ideas are appreciated.

there was two nuns and a vicar...

the first nun who was 60 would give the vicar a bath every nightas she has done for 40 years...but one night she wasn't able to so she asked the other nun who was about 20 to give him his bath. she said okay what do i need to do??

The nun replied well you must do everything he says but never look under the bubbles.

The next day the second nun wals in with a smile on her face all happy. The first nun asks 'what are you so happy about?'
the second nun replies 'well im going to heaven?' the fist nun says 'well how do you know that?'

The second nun replies 'well last night the vicar said to me 'if my key fits your lock then you will go to heaven' ans indeed it did fit'

The first nun [annoyed] replies 'and for 40 years he told me it was a tenor horn and i have to blow it'
