Not allowed to wear hats in class. I never did understand that one. Were they a weapon of some sort?

I now hear that some schools won't let kids wear jackets in class even if the A/C is running constantly. How stupid is that?

Loads! No makeup allowed, no wearing jewellery, no wearing badges that said statements, and those long PVC coats that were so cool (it was the 80s) theyw ere banned too, basically any extras that made you an individual !!
The stupidest one of all was to do with the basic uniform:
Girls were not allowed to wear trousers. They HAD to wear skirts ALL YEAR LONG even in the WINTER.....Stupid!!!!??
I used to break that rule all the time. I wore black leggings with high heeled ankle boots with four buckles on each side and I was sent to the head of years office at least once a week for violating the rules. But it didnt stop me wearing trousers in the winter, I was cold!

And the over-testosteroned soccer stars struggling with one yet another for dominance.. and then being forced away from mattress in the wee hours of the morning, to be crammed in one development with all of that? every day? It substitute into organic torture. I consistently felt my time may be greater useful spent someplace else. I consistently pleaded with my mom to domicile college me, even nevertheless I had acquaintances and did nicely in instructions. I merely hated college- As do you. Your fact particularly plenty sums up each thing that went with the aid of my head back then. the subject with college, is college teaches pupils to hate it. they supply not something of amusement- And basically sweep the clever pupils that behave nicely, decrease than the mats. someplace alongside the way, I found out to tolerate it. I enjoyed to place in writing- Creatively, of direction, and extra a laptop in for magazine entries or my very own imaginitive artwork. It helped bypass the infinite minutes of time wasted. regrettably, you'll want your severe college degree. Following that, you'll want a school degree to do despite the fact that that is you desire to do in lifestyles. college is greater useful- much less time is wasted, and there is greater of a concentration on the textile. It helps which you get to compliment your instructions. you're an clever toddler. draw close in there- i understand that is annoying, yet whats up- think of of it as a lesson in eye-catching your self whether you have faith it sluggish/the enterprise is wasted.

I didn't really HATE it...but I didn't like how students weren't allowed to chew gum in school...and if they were ever caught the teachers would humiliate them, and make them stick it on their nose in front of everyone.
