Zn(s)+Pb(2+)(aq)=Zn(2+)(aq) + Pb(s). this equation comes into play when the product between the two substances are soluble

Zn + Pb2+ -----> Pb + Zn2+

As long as the lead compound is soluble.
It would also work, I suppose, with PbO in the solid phase.
