First of yes you are correct.
Saying that though in today's atmosphere it's: "What have you done for me lately." - and the last example of GOD getting personally involved in the world is in the Jewish/Christian time. During this 2000 years no other area of the planet has seen signs of GOD involved to such degree.
None are so quick to forget than the human, as we live so short a time.
I still think GOD is involved in all faiths, but from a human point of view - Christians have the advantage of being last.
This is of course a guess - as I do not know any of the worlds religions, nor do I know whom GOD talked to last.

They can't, and they don't want to acknowledge that there are other god/goddess, most of them much older and they have more history, and culture; for them to acknowledge that there is other gods, would put doubt in their hearts and minds, and being brainwashed doesn't help either when the bible states that no one will worship any other gods but him.
Hears the simple truth, no god, gods, goddess is no better than any other, religion is a lifestyle, its how that person wants to live his/her life in this world, it may take a one true god for you, but for some one else, they may need more. No one has a right to judge other people because their different than you, not you, me, them, not even the one true god can't judge, because religion is a lifestyle, and that's the simple truth.

The idea of God is different from person to person.
Every one have his own idea of God, which is powerfully influenced by his family, situation, religion, beliefs, study, and knowledge.
Sometimes even single person can have different idea of that same single God, because, his idea will be influenced by his financial positions, health, age, and other domestic or family problems.
But for an enlightened person all of that ideas in this world is same.......an unique idea of God.....he does not find any difference.
Now you tell me....
a) Do you honestly agree that your idea of God matches with
other `s?
b)Does your idea of same God remains constant from your child hood idea?
c) Do You agree honestly that the present idea remains constant forever?
d) Are you enlightened one?
Can faith remain constant forever?
So, it is most natural that there are at least 600 millions Gods and 600 millions human live stock is there on this planet.

It's because the Bible tells them not to beleive that there is just as much proof to suggest those gods are just as real as the god of araham.
But there is a select few that follows their heart rather then just a book, they are nice :)

"One true God" doesn't have to be a subjective term. I think we can apply it to our own personal God(s) at our leisure. You're right in saying that most people think their God is the best but isn't that the point of religion? To celebrate your faith and to be proud of what you believe? Have you ever heard anyone say: "your god is probably better then my god" or "my god is weak and feeble." No. Why? It wouldn't make any sense. The next time you see or hear someone claiming their God is the true God, you should praise them for celebrating their faith rather than criticize them and label them as ignorant. Perhaps this is just wishful thinking but I am entitled to my opinion.
I hope that answers your question.
Have a wonderful day!!!

Well, Pangel, tolerance goes both ways. If a person genuinely believes there is "one true God", shouldn't he be allowed to say so? A lot of people who believe that, feel they have sufficient proof. They also feel that logic supports them.
As a believer in one true God, I don't complain about the fact that some believers in many gods post their ideas. But I don't see anything wrong in posting my belief either.
If I didn't believe that my faith was "better", then I wouldn't follow it!

Some of us are godless heathens. I post a lot of stupid answers to stupid questions. It's just that after a lifetime of being harassed by the other side, I don't feel like being nice sometimes. I don't have any real malice. I just like ticking off some of the right-wing fundies.

You are all wrong. Adonai HaSh-m the living G-d of Israel is the one and only true G-d. The problem is that primitive religions and mindsets cannot grasp the profoundly deep Jewish vision of G-d as the infinite nothing or EIN SOF. G-d is not a man or a woman, no Jew believes that- the He Him His of the TaNaKH is just a linguistic convention caused by the limits of man's language. The Jewish G-d is the one true G-d because He is the only one who actively forbids His being represented at all.
He's got chutzpah, I say....

I want to believe there is a God but there are so many different religions and beliefs than one cannot be sure which is the right one.
The Hindu people, for example, have many different gods and they are kind and gentle people, as are those practising Buddhism.
In Christians I have met many hypocritical people.
I just believe that God is love and that you should treat your fellow human-beings as you would wish to be treated - with love.
