What makes a family member entitled to love? Is it wrong not to love a member of your family? Should you love your family no matter what they do or how they treat you, or are there conditions for family love? Under what circumstances, if any, would you feel it's ok not to love a family member?

I saw a sign that said wait for green next to a traffic light. Seriously should the US just ban driving all together if they need a sign to tell what light means go. Also the justifications that people use that it is to warn people of a delayed green is b.s. especially when it is at a green arrow intersection. Are bad drivers a bigger threat than AIDS, cancer and many other diseases?

I'm launching a new comedy website at TeleSpank.com, and in this episode I pretended to be a senile old man. In it I decided to voice my distaste for Branson, to humorous effect. So, am I allowed to say such things when I'm acting as a character? Or do I have to bleep the word "Branson" out, "to be safe"? (I'd rather not, to keep the integrity of the gag.... but I figure I should ask around...)

I just recently replaced the engine in my f-150, and I have a sneeky suspicion that the mechanic rebuilt my motor and charged me for a new one. He said my motor was bad, and that I need a new one, so I paid for the new one plus the additional charges because the core was bad. Is there any way I can tell by the engine ID number if the new motor is actually the old motor, but just rebuilt? Thx in advance.

i have a HUGE crush on a guy that works at my school. he isn't a teacher, persay, but he does work at my school. i can't stop thinking about him. i have felt like this for like 3 years now. he knows so much about me and he always wants to talk to me. whenever he gets the chance, he will have a long conversation with me. sometimes, i think he likes me too. but then my friends will tell me that it's NOT gonna happen since he is a teacher and all. i am soo close to him. and i hate it that i don't know how he feels and i can't get over him. i'm only 16. and he's 27. i'm graduating in 2 years, so maybe things will change. we used to email each other but not anymore. i just don't know what to do anymore.

I think he is using crack/cocaine. I called CPS. The cops said they can't do anything-I've been through the courts a million times they don't care-he has used in the past which I told them. Sooo what the heck do I do-I'm so upset and don't know where to go anymore. State law says that it is only child abuse if child is present during manufacture of methamphetamine or phyncyclidine or if the child suffers bodily injury as result. Is this crazy or what? What happened to protection of children -Oh it's the fathers right huh?!! Please lets do something about this-only in DC is it child abuse to expose the child to drug-related activity. In 8 states it is when selling, distributing , or giving drugs or alcohol to child is child abuse. I could tell you all of them but I sure you really don't care.. I guess the laws are saying my daughter has to be physically hurt in order for it to be considered neglect..well lets hope that the state doesn't allow this to happen.

I have a friend who has been in a relationship w/ this guy for a little over 3 yrs. In the past year, they have gotten a cat. She was telling me that since they started living together, the punishments for the cat have gotten worse. From what I understand, he doesn't just haul off & beat the crap outta the cat. She said that the cat WILL do something wrong, i.e. get into the garbage or be in stuff that it shouldn't be in, before the boyfriend does any "punishing." But from what it sounds like, it went from 1 or 2 lil smacks on the bum & a verbal scolding to a freakin' belt & yelling. Now, I'm not advocating any of those kinds of actions & it kinda scares me for her & their future kids' sake. Overall, he seems like a normal guy. He's never once, according to her, hit her, & to me he seems fairly calm w/o any "issues." I'm was just wondering if anybody has experience with such persons & knows if they've treated their kids in the same manner? I want to give her warning if need be.

Don't get me wrong I have no sympathy for a lot of those assholes who have a sick pleasure hunting down a fox to a violent and bloody end but of course we know despite all propaganda that serve as nothing more than an irritating distraction, namely the idea that its nothing more than urban predudice, that the real and only issue that serves as any great good is to minimize the inhumane sufferring to animals. Is hunting by dogs really the only humane way of culling foxes? Personally It has been a suprise to find myself from being 100% anti-fox hunting to being either unsure with many questions to perhaps being pro fox hunting with the exact same philisophical greater good. The fox is a preditor and in its life time it hunts and kills perhaps in the same violent and inhumane way thousands of small mamals. If you kill one fox or one preditor in the most humane way possible and I mean all preditors lions, tigers and foxes how can that not be the right thing considering the mass suffering?

Ok, so here is the deal. My husband and I recently got married, but I cannot move with him right away. He is going back to his station to sign in tomorrow. (He's in the Marines!) We are trying to get me signed in, but... to do that can I send him with a copy of our marriage certificate or do they really need the original? He will be in S.C. while I'll still be in N.Y. I would hate to send him with the original because it will probably get lost, lol. But, I don't want him to get down there and he needs the original. We are trying to move me there a.s.a.p. Any help or info from experienced persons would be greatly appreciated!
Just shooting for it... Do you also know how long it would take before I am eligible on his insurance and when I can start using it? I kind of need it! Thanks again!
