To settle a semi long-standing question - I contend that a NHL team down two players must have scored a short handed goal. Who has done it and when? Where is there a NHL database for this kind of data?

Earth, well humans for that matter, are such an insignificant part of this universe.

If there are planets that are billions of light years away and it would take us millions and billions of years to travel to them or even be able to see them .... why did god create them?


We are nothing. We are statistically nonexistant. If the universe were a number we would have been rounded off a long time ago.

This solar system, in turn, exists in a much larger galaxy made up of about 100 billion or 10^11 other star systems. To put that in perspective, finding the sun in our galaxy is about as easy as finding a specific grain of sand in all of California's coastline.

The people who followed the belief that a god existed did not know how insignificant they really were. They thought we were the center of the universe. Now we know this is not the case. We are so insignificant it's laughable.

So if god does exist, what is the purpose for this infinite amount of space? ....

The idea behind atheism is a belief that God doesn't exist. To denounce means that you accuse or condemn. Why are so many following a movement to accuse and condemn blindly what they say they don't believe exists?

I believe it is the work of someone who is trying to trick unsuspecting persons into the unforgiveable sin, by making it the cool thing to do, thus condemning themselves.

Thanks for everyone's help on my fruits & veggies post! I just have a question about eggs. I heard eggs are a great source of nutrients for dogs but is it better for the eggs to be cooked or raw? Our landlord has asked us to move so a family member can use the home. We have 3 pets whom are like our children. Finding affordable pet friendly housing is difficult. We have limited income as my better half has had a hard time finding regular work. He started a new job last week, his first pay check will be in a week. The lordlord says she wants us out by 6/15. Housing with pets is like $300.00 a month more than were paying now plus there's the regular deposit, the first month,pet deposit,etc. We have been just getting by here. We make too much money for Section 8 housing in our area (family of 2 $22,700 per year) Are there any groups out there that help with housing till you can get on your feet? Our credit isn't good either so we can't look into buying at this time either. Any ideas would be great to hear. We worry everyday that we will get a notice to vacate before 6/15 since we donot have a lease. Thanks so much!

Ok first off I'm 5'2, Sixteen years old, and I weigh 175 pounds. I am over weight and for the past three weeks I have gotten serious about losing weight. My target goal is to lose 15-30 pounds by next birthday, which is in August. Currently I go on the tredmile for 30-45 minutes a day at a speed of 3.5 and a speed of 4.0 for the last 5 minutes. I do this 5 or 6 days out of the week. I also eat a whole lot better. I eat a salad just about everyday, more fruits, more veggies. I cut down on the soda( I only have one at school, or as a last resort) and replaced em with more water and tea. I also do 5-10 minutes of working out with dumbells every other day(not to extreme), and I was thinking about doing some crunches to help tone and help burn off the tummy.

So yeah basicly I'm new to all of this weight loss stuff, so can you tell me what I need to add or take out of my whole regiment in order to reach my goal. Thanks in advance.
