3 days ago my 19 year old sis accidentally dropped my black 3 year old gerbil. at first she was shocked, and when we put her back in her cage and didnt come out of her house for a day. the next day we noticed that her toes on her left leg were tightly packed together and she refused to put her foot down, so she just limped. theres no sign of pain, and shes still pretty active. ( though she rests in her house longer then usual.) do you think shes crippled permanently? or is this a short term thing? please help!

My lower back has been hurting me almost constantly for the past several months. It has gotten to the point that I avoid sitting down whenever and however possible. I can only get on the computer by lying slightly reclined on my bed and using my laptop. Some days are better or worse than others, but the pain persists. The only other symptom I have is that I am rather stiff all over when I wake up in the mornings. I walk like Frankenstein for about 15 to 30 minutes, and then I can walk more normally, even though my lower-back still hurts. Bloodwork is inconclusive, and so for the doctors haven't been able to figure out what is going on with me. Can someone help?

I was very offended by something that happened to my husband today and I personally think he should be hopping mad but he's not, his attitude is that if it happened to him then it didn't happen to someone more sensitive and he's OK about it. I'm having a great deal of difficulty understanding this attitude so if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am a junior in high school and am in one honors and AP course of which I have a A in both. But I moved a lot in my previous years in high school and had to take standard classes of which I pretty much got straight A's in. I am taking 4 AP's my senior year and am in the National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society, and have a Principal's Achievement Award. I also have been on the High Honor Roll every Quarter sice the beginning of my sophmore year. I have also done volunteer and community service work. Do I have a good chance of getting into a good college or did moving so much hurt me in the long run? Please help I am stressing out a lot!!

I've always been amazed by the street art you find across SF and other places. Some of it is really amazing and beautiful. I would like to try and learn how. Of course, I wouldn't do it on public property. I'm only 16 and I don't want to end up in trouble. I'm thinking I would probably use big paper or wood to spray on. Still, I cannot find where to learn how. I did a search, and all I really got was how to REMOVE the paint. Does anyone know where I can learn to do this? I promise, I won't vandalize someone's property.

On Let's Make a Deal, when the peron would choose the wrong curtain and end up with a goat, did they really get to keep the goat? It's probably a stupid question, I know. whats a good intermediate/advanced drum set? What is the best hardwood for the shells and how many plys? I will be playing hard rock music. I want drums that have a nice crisp punchy sound. Should I get shallow or deep toms? I have a dw pacific that I have used for many years but I'm sick of the sound. Ive tried different heads, muffled etc. Still sounds like crap. I have good hardware/cymbals. Just interested mostly about the type of wood shells are used and how many plys. What do the pro's look for. Thanks for your kind responses, everybody.

Is the Orion Starshoot DSI better than a Meade DSI pro color, for the price I am getting the starshoot for 350$ used and the DSI pro color is 499! I will be using it with my Celestron C8-S-GT on equa. mount in Pittsburgh. I am fairly new at astrophotography and want a CCD since they are made for astrophotography compared to DSLRs.
If you have any imput that would be great.
