i fyou know anything about flash you can do some really cool things with your pics fade in/out flip spin etc loads of things and it takes up less space than usual, there is a cool program you can download that will do most of these things for you www.swishzone.com but this is only a trial but you will be able to do some good stuff in that time and if you like it its allot cheaper than adobe dreamveaver and other adobe flash products

I think what you're looking for is a slide show program. XP has one built in, but I would suggest downloading either Xnview or Irfanvew. Both can create very good slide shows, and both are free. My preference is Xnview, I find it's interface a little easier to navigate.
