If you do, why? What real proof do you have?
If you don't, why? Have you always felt that way? If not, what happened that made you change?

If God is real then why won't he heal amputees? If He "heals" people from diseases, then why can't he heal an amputee?

P.S. Lynn M, You said, "4. My husband was in a terrible car accident and his air bag and seat belt saved him. He only had minor cuts." His air bag and seat belt saved him! Not an imaginary being. My grandma had cancer and she lived. She lived long enough to get cancer again and die a painful death 5 years later. Why make a person go through that same pain more than once? Don't you think once is enough?

no I don't believe in God. it's delusional to believe in something you don't have proof of.

Yes. I just think it's ridiculous to believe that nature and life were all just a happy accident. I've had four miscarriages and went through a lot of testing and fertility treatments. When you understand all that is involved in making a healthy human baby and how much of it relies on precise timing and precise numbers, I don't see how anyone can believe all that came about just by pure luck or an accident. The same for when I look at nature. Can anyone actually make a tree? Yes, you can grow one from seed, but what if you had no seeds? What if you had no seeds and no trees? I mean there had to have been a time when there were no trees and no seeds, so where did the first one come from? Where did the first EVERYTHING come from? And when you look at the precision involved in everything from the speed of light to how the human brain works, I think only a total idiot can think all that happened just by accident!

100% and more.
1. I had breast cancer, I am alive now.
2. I had a mastectomy, I am still alive.
3. My parents are still alive and in good health (84 and 85 years of age)
4. My husband was in a terrible car accident and his air bag and seat belt saved him. He only had minor cuts.
5. My son has been wanting to be a Police Officer, he starts the academy my in 2 weeks.
6. I am alive.
I have always had a deep faith and strength in God. If I didn't I would have been dead a very long time ago.

I belive in a God. I talk to Him all the time. But the bible seems partly made up to me. Iv'e went to christian schools and Iv'e always been undecided because there's never been proof besides " have faith" from my teachers. I don't want to have faith in a bible thats not real you know what I mean. I also don't want to be a hypocrite and try to belive in the bible, because I really don't. But I'll tell you this, I honestly do believe there's someone if not more people somewhere caring for us. Prayer does work.

I most certainly do and in Jesus, too. I have always believed since I can remember and I plan to keep on believing. The proof I have is that Jesus has watched over and kept me and my family safe, fed, clean, with a home and car, etc. all my life and he's not going to stop now. Read your Bible. I also know people who have been healed of serious illness through strong devoted prayer.

No I don't, but here are some of the things I have lived through: I hit a car head on on a motorcycle going 85 mph. I have been shot 3 times and I have been stabbed twice. I have broke nearly every bone in my body, and have had over 2000 stiches. I believe I am just a tuff and lucky guy!

Yes, and not just because of the Bible...which was not written by crazy people...
All you need do is look around you at this earth and universe. Everything is too precise to have happened by accident. the exact ratio of oxygen in the atmosphere combined with other gasses. If it were off by a fraction of a percentage point we could not exist. the tilt of the earth on its axes if it were not precise we would not have seasons that would allow the growing of crops etc. The earth keeps renewing itself, as you well know anything left to itself will deteriorate. I could go on and on but just look around you....everything has to be exactly as it is or we would not exist, we and everything on this planet would have been extinct millions of years ago.
There is intelligence behind the whole universe! That intelligence is known as the creator or simply God.
Chuck Missler at http://www.khouse.org/ has an excellent tape that fully describes what I said above in much more detail. Write to him and ask for the tape.

I believe there is something higher than us, not necessarily a god, I don't have proof, but I can believe whatever I want. Sometimes people need to feel like someone is out there, someone they can talk to without being judged or critiqued. I have pretty much always felt like this.

Yes, I do. I don't have "real" proof...I have faith. Also, I find it hard to believe that the sheer complexity of life happened by chance. Only God could make life so beautiful. I have always known God existed and it has only been confirmed for me. Two years ago, I lost the love of my life to cancer and only God's grace has brought me through.

I do indeed. During WW2, I, together with some of my buddies was pinned down by German machine gun fire and mortar rounds that were hitting all around us. One round hit so close to my fox hole, that it collapsed on me and buried me alive. It took two of my friends who risked their lives to dig me out when the German positions were being hit by our artillery. I never prayed so hard, and for some reason God heard my prayer and I came back home after 3 years without a scratch. But I will never forget that incident if I live to be 100 years old.
