Every year we recognize a few mothers at church on Mother's Day and I would like some ideas that aren't the traditional oldest mother, youngest mother, mother with the most kids, etc. Any ideas that would be different but still tasteful?

Its much depressing that whenever a man in India sets out to search his bride he searches for a fair skinned lady . if he cant find her with enough wealth he then compensates with a wealthy but dark girl. even after marriage too he and his relatives insults her of being dark. is it not dark skin the color of Indians especially it happens mostly in south India. why this men are forcing us towards a lot of whitening creams and driving us heartbroken. most of the men and their relatives use this colorism to prejudice a woman even though they are also of the same color.
when will these people realize dark skinned girls also have feelings and life? i'm sure we are not non living beings like a table or chair.
tell me how to change this attitude of men or husbands.

I am a stay at home mom and I am starting a business making candles, homemade lotions, shower gel, bath salts, lipgloss, bubble bath and other bath and body stuff. I need a name, I would like something really creative (like Common Scents, but that is a business name in my hometown) Something original but catchy and very clever. My name is Deanna but I really dont wanna use my name. I am from Indiana. Everything is homemade, with natural ingredients and the candles are soy. I have a huge list of names and addresses in a excel spreadsheet and need to sort these by name unfortunately some of the address span multiple lines so when it's sorted using the normal sort they get jumbled up and moved to the bottom of the spreadsheet.

Science has NEVER proven evolution. In fact, some scientists have shown that the theory of evolution is made up of half truths and assumptions that do not fit the requirements of hard science. Data is always subject to the interpretation of the person who interprets it therefore if you believe that their is no God, you will interpret the data accordingly...just as those who believe there is a God...you will interpret the data accordingly. The simple fact that neither side can prove beyond any doubt their particular stance proves that it is all results from a subjective viewpoint.

As a Christian however, I have all the proof I need living within me. I can't prove it to you or to anyone else scientifically but the knowlege is there.

I work in a hospital in childrens outpatients. Today I rang a parent to offer them an appointment for their child. A 6 year old answered the phone and after asking for her parents she informed me she was alone. I didnt belive her and decided to ring back after 30 mins (this was 9.30am). I rang back and again she answered. After questioning her some more, she told me that her parents had gone to the 'mortgage man' and would be back at 4.15pm. Her older brother who is 11 is at school and she is sick at home. I couldnt believe this! I was/am so upset that after all thats happening in the news that people will still leave their children unattended. Why did both parents have to go to the bank? I went to one of the Child Protection doctors and she rang up social services and had police sent around to the house. Was I wrong for reporting this??

Total dummy question. I just bought a house last year and moved in during winter so the sprinkler must have been turned off. now that it's almost summer i'd like to turn the sprinkler back on. i saw a programmer in the garage and turned that on, but where's the faucet? where would it usually be?
