no music soothes your soul. if it damaged your soul then it wouldnt be able to help people calm down when theyre stressin out. know what i mean?

In my humble opinion, the answer is Yes...That depends of course on the kind of music you prefer to listen, loudness and freaky texts, that might inflict your mind...
If you are psychically stable personality ( which no-one is absolutely sure about, until proved in certain tough circumstances ), you can listen to every rubbish without being inflicted, but if you are weak personality, the possibilities of damage to your soul can increase dramatically !

Absolutely music can damage your soul. Let me be clear that I'm not referring to the style of music, but the lyric contents. If the lyrics speak of anger, death, violence, murder, abuse ... this can sink in, and impact who you are and how you act.
