no, I wouldn't if he left you for another woman, he may love you, but not enough to care about your feelings, he is walking all over you, stand up and don't let it happen, you're not his doormat

I think you can. He may love you, but it doesn't mean that you two have to get back together or anything. I hear over and over again here that getting back with an ex isn't a very good idea. Their reasoning seems to make sense, because they usually point to the idea that there was something that made you two split. Does that something still exist? If so, then going back there's not such a good idea.

How do you feel? Do you love him too, or are you just flattered?

Yeah, there are some other good ideas above. He may just be wanting to use you.

Do you as a honestly think that a man that leaves his woman for another truly loves you? I would tell him to take that and stick elsewhere. a man that loves someone would stay with them, and not go off with someone else. it seems like this guy is telling you what you want to hear, so that when its convenient for him to come back he can. this guy isnt worth it. if that man truly loved you, he would never leave you, and stay with you and not with someone else. I would forget about him and let him do his thing and you move on and be happy with someone else, you should never let a guy know he has your heart, especially when hes broken it. you should go and have fun and oneday you will see that he'll figure out what hes missing.

he just thought the grass was greener on the other side. But if he did leave you for another woman, are you willing to take him back even though he probably does still love you? If he was so easy to leave you once, what would keep him faithful and true forever.

Hard as it may be, kiss him goodbye and move on to someone who will be true to you, yourself...

No No No.

I think NEVER would be the best answer to your question.

He just wants to be sure that you'll be there for him in case something goes wrong in his new relationship that's all.

I'm really sorry to say but you sould move on.

depends on his reason for leaving, sometimes love alone isnt enough to hold a relationship together, and the best thing for both people, no matter how much they love eachother, is to break up and move on.

Not only wouldnt I believe the person, I would never ever trust them again. Move on. If the person left you, they probably did so in their mind for a good reason.

no girl, no! when someone leaves you, there is a reason that they did it. if he loves you, he would be with you right now! trust me- my parents are in the middle of a divorce because my dad is a player. NEVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! trust a man who cheats on you, esp. when comes back to say, 'I love you!'. Leave him now, and get a divorce!
